Yuck! Men like that kind of piss me off. Like you have this invisible button on your stomach and a few gross statements and your legs magically spring open. When I really think about it, it's kind of sad that the view of a women would be so low as to think those kind of pick up lines would actually work. Yuck..Yuck...Ewwwww

Wow what a day that you had it was good that the police where so close by that you was able to leave the cafe for a few to seek help yes men can be very bad but there are a few good men out there as well

I know, I know, I am married to a wonderful guy and yet he's some moments that I can't help but to say, "you're a dog!" (something to do with cleaning) lol, but that doesn't mean that I love him any less. But when it comes to just some other men, especially a random stranger like that, that is totally creepy and annoying. I'm glad you did what you did, maybe that will teach him to mind his manners and to be more respectful of women.

These kind of blokes really let the male gender down. As you know Maria, I have two teenage daughters. Their Mother and I have always taught them that they as good, if not better than any.man out there. They also know that they are not pieces of meat or playthings for scummy men. I should also add that their younger brother is being brought up to be a gentleman and to treat women with respect. This kind of behaviour that you were subjected to makes me sick.

It is good that you have a police station across the street and that they are your friends. I hope this guy is not mad and come back to bother you at night some time. Evidently his cuteness does not get him very far.

Hello Maria, You do look stunning in the attached photo. Keep in mind that some girls actually fall for that kind of approach, even if to some others it looks sickening (like me, you and your police friend) and he just went out to try his luck. Yes it's wrong, and I don't like it either, but so many guys would not use it if it would not work, right ? Fortunately (from my perspective) you have a better respect for yourself then to give in to such low flirt attempts, and unfortunately for that guy. That was not the place or the time to say anything. And besides he should have just kept his mouth shut. There are many ways to get to know someone and thats not one of them. You are good looking and I am sure men do make passes at you, but in your cafe with other people. That is just tacky.

You won't get an argument from me about how we(men) can be dogs. I definitely think that's true, and I see it a lot. However, I believe it goes both ways as well. Women have scandalous ways at times themselves, but they tend not to get called out on it as often. Sorry to hear that you had to endure a guy like that though. Unfortunately, guys like him exist all too often.

well, yes, it's very annoying moment. If I were on your situation, may be I will as angry as you. lucky you have your police friend near you to told him. hopefully, this give him a lesson, that man should respect woman and treat woman well

I know some guys have no respect. I use to get this at the coffee shop I worked at. Some where just dogs, and I would stand there, and just think obviously you either dont get respect from your wief/ girlrfiend, or are just that big of a pig.

i am not dogs but if you spell like this "dawg" maybe i am... not all men are like that as some woman are that too as i experience also and my comp shop..! lot of people lot of attitude many of them are annoying.. rude people don't deserved kindness and you are lucky that you have a police friend

First off unfortunately it is men and women like that that give others not a chance. Where I live its even worse. Me and my daughter decided to take a walk and there were literally men beeping and pulling over. We stopped to get a coffee and some guy tried to pick her up. The things they say are unrepeatable. Then when a nice guy does try to say hello, its like we've been irritated so much that you take it out on everyone that tries to make conversation. In your case Maria, you're a business woman. You have assets, if you will. Not only are you attractive as a woman but your wallet becomes attractive. Its unfortunate but when people see an individual who is independent, confident, etc. For some men/women you become a meal ticket. Sad but true. I find though that everyone has experienced this type of thing once in their lifetime or know someone who has. If someone is really interested, they'll understand why you're being extra cautious. You keep doing you and when you least expect it, the right man will be by your side. I promise. Good things always come when we arent expecting it. This I know from personal experience. DML P.S. That is quite true, some are just like dogs, while other may behave like pigs, and other type of critter, these type of men often lacking of respectable home education from their mommy and daddy during childhood period to practice it on women in their society. A fact often overlook by many parent in our "modern" world.

I agree men can be dogs. They can also be unromantic, not helpful, mean, and selfish... Sorry, having a bad marriage day. Lol. I am over it, well maybe not but I will be eventually. I get some guys that hit on me like that and they actually look offended when I turn them down and tell them I am married. Like I am being the one out of line...
