Hey!
An observation...
I have 3 females in the house...
What the hell are they doing with the TOILET PAPER?
Before we get too graphic here - I am aware how ladies use toilet paper.
... But SO MUCH???????
I always seem to be buying it.
They never tell you about this stuff at school.
They tell you to work hard, get good grades and get a good job...
Never once did anyone say that you will spend so much time in supermarkets with toilet rolls under your arm....usually looking for female sanitary products.
Why are the men the ones to buy this stuff?

Hi Rob,
Well, I have to say that no man buys my toilet paper and never has bought any of the female sanitary products here. Maybe my husband did once or twice when I was married but honestly...I was not one to ask him to do that. I raised 4 daughters and yes...toilet paper is a pretty big commodity in a household of all women. Women use toilet paper each time they pee...men do not. It's simple. You have 3 females in the house so yep..you are going to go through a lot of toilet paper and don't they have friends that come around...more toilet paper.

That's what I'd like to know. I've had to confiscate and ration that stuff out because it was going way to fast and the toilet was clogged just about every day. Unless you're having bowel or "lady" issues you don't need that darned much paper to get clean. I'm a female too, I know this stuff.

It is. I agree, but they started going through a roll a day. I'm thinking I'll start making them pay for it.

hahahahahahaha
I think somebody will put their arm around my shoulder and say something like...
"Listen Rob, you can't charge your kids for toilet paper - that is a little crazy mate"

I do not think I have to ration the stuff yet - That would be a little drastic

I don't know what you are complaining about, yuo just have to supply it, you don't have to suffer with the management of paper used by your body. Every month 7 to 14 day of constant involuntary flow, the worry of when and where you will need to refresh your paper supply, in fact we often have to carry it with us in case of need. All this just to keep our bodies fit for procreation of the human race. And this doesn't even touch the pain factor. Just shut up and thank the Gods that the only times you came near to using this amount of paper is when you have loose bowels.

It's great that you do as not all guys are into that kinda thing..certainly not my Dad, put it that way.
Because I'm so boring and complain about the most ridiculous things I actually emailed Velvet about their toilet rolls. If you look closely (and Andrex have done the same as it's 'industry standard' apparently) they have changed the cardboard roll back in November 2012! The roll itself is thinner and the diameter of it is larger than before..and I bet you they're not making up for this by putting more paper on the rolls.
No chance.
So, you see, that's why toilet rolls aren't lasting as long as they used to but we're all paying the same price for them.

I am with you there Janey...
You have to keep your beadys on the Blaggards. They are always trying to shaft us.
Now, I suspect that we are of a similar age... Do you remember when WAGON WHEELS were as big as your HEAD?

I sure do. Sweets are miles smaller than they used to be as well..and Jaffa Cakes..the list is endless.
I'm 46 by the way..nearly 47 and I don't like that one bit lol.

My man doesn't buy that stuff... he'd be happy to, except we get it at the warehouse club and I'm the one with the membership card so I can't just send him to get it. 30 rolls of their brand seems to last us about 3-4 months as long as the toddler doesn't get carried away with it.
I've never sent him to get my sanitary products... although he did have to suffer through the freebie spree last year when I had a bunch of coupons that let me get 60+ packages without spending a cent. I think he only put up with that one because he knows it's going to be ages before I have to buy any more.

I think it has a lot to do with the quality of the paper. The brand we get is pretty thick and it comes in rolls of 425 sheets. Plus it's just two adults and a toddler here and we spend a lot of time out of the house so that's probably a factor too.
I tried a pack of the cheap stuff from the grocery store a while ago. It was 12 rolls and I think it lasted about a week and a half if that. The rolls were less than half the size of the ones we normally get and rolled really loosely, too.

A toilet paper investigation?
I had better speak to my son and make sure that we have our stories straight.
What do you think - Detective?

Toilet paper is a mystery. Really. One thing I did observe with toilet paper is that they are not as full as they used to be. Secondly I agree with you on this discussion. What they do with the toilet paper I don't really know. As for using them as sanitary napkins, well, that would explain where most of it is going. LOL. Hey Now!!!!!
