Pray, not Worry!

Do you worry that much? Do you pray? Do you pray instead of worrying? Worrying indicates that we are trying to solve our problems on our own. On the other hand, praying is an indication of our faith in God. When we pray, we become confident that God is going to help us. Let your praise be louder than your problems. Pray that you live a life worthy of Him all the days of your life, and that may love be upon everyone. Show love, kindness, patience, mercy and understanding... _____________________________________________________________ from: http://www.bubblews.com/news/243735-praying-vs-worrying

I try to remember that! Because I could spend a lot of time worrying. I don't want to do that.

Make the choice and surrender to Him who will carry you. He has all the answers - always.

Worrying can drag us down, until such a time will come that all we do is worry, nothing else. We should try to avoid this, PRAY instead... and always think that God is so BIG that even the things you worry about are so small for Him. Trust and obey Him and you will be fine.

Hi, I like the line pray, not worry. You are absolutely right. Everyone has worries and sorrows. But we have to face them standing firmly with whatever we have. Prayer can not always give solution to our problem but it gives us strength to find solution to our problem. I have faith in God. God is with them who has as you said love, mercy, kindness, patience, understanding.

Hello! What a beautiful response you have here. You are right, praying will not mean that your problems and struggles will be solved right away, but it actually teaches us other things.

I don't pray, but I do have faith in my 'guardian angel' who is watching over me, keeping me safe and guiding me. Worrying is wasting precious energy, we cannot change things by worrying, we need to have faith in ourselves as well as our beliefs.

Hello ! Prayers are powerful ! It can moved mountains ! This is our highest form of communication to God. This is the chance where we can talk , say all our intentions , fear , worries and anything that we have inside , God then listens like a bestfriend. We can talk to Him 24/7 . To anything that we are into , prayers would be our first and last defense.

Thank you Angel! I like the way you ended your response. Prayer should be our FIRST and LAST option. Prayer as a last option is not a good idea. I know some people who only pray when there is nothing else left, the good thing is that these people still managed to pray when they realized they have nothing. Nice!

I used to worry much but when I get to read this bible verse in Philippians 4:6 "Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done." It made me realized that I need to put ALL my trust in God.

Thank you for sharing this verse here. This is really awesome! Instead of worrying about things not going well, TRUST in Him and ask His guidance and He will take care of everything.

Yes, I always pray to God. I always rely my worries and problem with him. I know that he will not made face for me. I know that he will not dump me. I know that he has always a helping hand to wipe my worries away. I know I love him and so I trust him and just lean all my worries on him.

I like this! This is awesome! I teach my kids that God is in control of EVERYTHING. That their is no one above Him. Not even ONE!! God allows things to happen in our life to show US what kind of spirit we have that is not from God and to pray over that spirit so that we can look like Christ. Whether that spirit is anger, disobedience, pride, greed, etc. We are to show those fruits of the spirit in everything.... I like what you wrote!! NICE.... -NIKKI-

Thank you Nikki. I wish all parents are like you. Prayer is very important thing that all children must know. Teaching them things like these at an early age can help in their spiritual development. Keep up and never stop what you do!
