I was watching The Today show today and saw a story about a woman who had to go to the bathroom and rushed in to a restaurant called "The Flood Zone" in Erin, Tennessee. She asked a female employee behind the counter if she could use the bathroom and got permission. She visited the restroom and left the restaurant.
Apparently there was a sign at the restaurant that states the restaurant would charge a $5.00 fee to anyone who isn’t a customer of the restaurant.
After she left the restaurant, she says the restaurant’s owner tracked this lady down by writing down her vehicle's license plate number and then had the sheriff trace it to its owner.
This lady was shocked to get a handwritten note asking her to send payment of $5.00 for the restroom use. She complied by visiting the restaurant in person to pay the fine but they would not take her money. She then got a money order and sent it to them and they returned it to her.
Can you believe this? It is so petty. I can't believe it. And really, $5.00 to use the restroom?
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Really the restaurant owner is very smart to find the lady's address by this way. He don't want to miss the 5 dollars so he collected it in this way.

That is a crock....I bet they really don't have a problem with it because if you aren't in a restaurant you don't usually just stop at one to go to the bathroom..it had to be an emergency....In Minnesota they have passed a law that businesses can't deny you the right to use their restroom...if you are disabled. Can you imagine that some have turned away a disabled person? At our Mall there aren't enough bathrooms....one in the middle....planners should know better then that!
