I am having cabin fever......

I really really want summer. Its so cold and wet and white here in NY! I used to Hate winter sooo much but the last few years really havent been that bad. Its been warmer and I dont think it even went below zero this year. I remember when I was young, it would be so cold..my nostrils would stick to my inside of my nose of I breathed. But this year...Its just dragging by...taking its sweet old time to get the heck out of here!! Last St pattys day it was 80 degrees out and we were wearing shorts. I remember because my niece was born on St Pattys Day. This year, I think its going to be cold and wet and we will prolly have snow on the ground. Same for Easter...its at the end of March this year!!!!!! Whats up with that? A cold Easter..I feel it. I just cant wait for summer! We do sooo much fun stuff with the kids in the summer. We take them hiking, we go on road trips and picnics, we go swimming, we go fishing,we have a garden together, we take them to all the State Parks around us...the park..we do so much and we are sooo busy that soemtimes it seems it goes by too fast. I hope we have a nice looong hot summer this year! What do you like to do in the summer time? Are you ready for summer?

I miss the summer even more. I just moved here in the midwest from a tropical country, and right in the middle of winter. 
Everyone here gives me the big eyes whenever I tell them where I cam from, like I am silly that I gave up the golden rays of sunshine to this gray winter. It's not that bad, I think. I am getting used to it. But I sure can use some warm weather now. I can't wait to wear my tanks and shorts and sneakers, which comprise the majority of the space in my closet. At least now we are having some sunshine unlike January when it's all gray and cloudy.

AH I would never ever move away from warm weather! U must be CRAZY! LOL! I love the warm...I wanna go to a beach with my children sometime. I went to VA beach last year but we went during Spring break and it was way to cold. SO my first time seeing the Ocean wasnt much fun because it was freeeeezing!

I live in Jersey, we have the same weather here. I can't wait for spring. Do you remember a few years ago, we got snow in May?
I love to go for walks with my babies(my son and dog). I love to just stop and smell the flowers. I love going swimming. I can't wait, til I can, again.
