I just heard the other day the show called The Bible is airing on the history channel on Sunday night at 8:00 pm. Roma Downey from touched like an angel and her husband produced this movie, I believe it will be a ten part series is anyone else going to be watching it? For me I can hardly wait I truly enjoy good shows like this I have seen the previews (looks like it will be good).

What time-zone will that be? I might catch the first episode, to see how useful the series looks like it'll be (to either disprove atheists and/or Bible-beater Christians) But the History Channel has lots of these kind of 'specials' (on the literary/archeological foundations of religious babblings), and I might get the feeling that it's 'another one o` those' and change the channel ... maybe how i met your mother or Rules of Engagement or The Big Bang Theory or F*R*I*E*N*D*S'll be on ...

Sun, March 3rd at 8/7c It will cover the Bible from the beginning to the end...With 5 2 hour shows. As of right now you still have the Freedom to choose what you watch here in America. that may not be the case in the future. so enjoy your freedom of choice while you can.

Viva Americana! I saw it on the schedule for what's on today, & it looks like another 'drama club'-depiction of Bible-stories. I'm sure the production is wonderful, but I'll pass; there's no higher picture-quality than the human mind itself! (besides, the Disney channel is playing Twisted tonight )

I will for sure! I love anything to do with the bible and learning more about it will be interesting. Since there is nothing on TV on Sundays this will be great look forward to every week. Is this a documentary or a TV series or a made for TV movie type show? My hubby was saying it was a movie but on a history channel I thought it would normally be a documentary.

No, I'm not. I don't really want to go by the reviews because the people reviewing it are probably not Christians and will no doubt not like it because if you are in the entertainment business, odds are the Bible is not important to them. But if I watch it and they get things wrong, it will just frustrate me. I'd be like, c'mon, you can't get that story right? Or you're going to let people at home believe that? Who knows though, maybe they'll get their facts straight.

I am thinking about watching it, as I like watching anything that relates to the bible or Jesuxs. I have seen the previews too, and it looks like it will be a good series. I read the bible every day, and seeing it put on screen really brings the bible to life. Take care, and God bless you.

Do you know if it is going to be on other channels other than History. That is the only channel I heard it was going to be on, my friend does not get History channel so I do hope it will be on other stations.
