My daughter and I went out this afternoon to run afew errands. We decided at the last minute to run one more and hoped to get back to the apartment before my grandson would be gettin off the bus since he has no key and we always lock up when we leave. We get there, do the errand and are starting back in nearly bummper to bumper traffic. The guy driving an older model car infront of us is just inching along. I pop up with this funny: "When I am slow I am faster than this guy!" So have you been in a similar situation and come up with something funny instead of sware words?

Well, it always helps, when certain situations happen, to look at life like this instead of always allowing to get us down. But it is interesting sometimes when driving somewhere, to get behind people that are taking their own sweet time, especially when you are running late and trying to get somewhere. Sometimes might make you wish you could be like them and not have so many cares about life like this.

It is usually someone who is fairly old that has done it too us, but the last time it was someone talking or texting, and really wishing people could refrain from doing this or pull over if they need to talk or text to someone while driving.

Indeed. He was young and probably had no real responsibilities. I just didn't want Josh to try to get in and be locked out and us no where to be found. Ikes!

I've only been in bumper to bumper traffic once and hated it. I only had to deal with it because there was an accident on the expressway so we all were bumper to bumper. I didn't want to swear about it and just talked normally to my boyfriend that was in the car with me while we were waiting. I hope you guys were able to make it back in time though to get your grandson.

Well, I actually, I do very little use of the car. If I can I prefer to use public transport.
However I must say that sometimes to me were to ride standing behind a vehicle moving slowly along the road. In different circumstances, there was no chance of overtaking!
So slowly and a little annoyed that I had to follow these vehicles proceeded in my opinion, too slowly. Are, however, agree that the city can not exceed the speed of 50 km / hbut nevertheless they went really slowly!
Nothing to do, I could just stay behind until there was a possibility of overtaking, or in the best case, these vehicles at some point, they took a different direction.
It is the stress of the driver!
In every way I always invite everyone to take extreme caution behind the wheel!

Being alert and attentive while behind the wheel is very important. Overtaking usually means you get over into another lane. I was in the right lane for where I was going and traffic was too heavy to move to the other lane and then get back again. So I was stuck where I was.

So the other day me and my best friend were driving. We hit traffic. I was sitting in the passengers set and my window was rolled half way down. I had my hand sticking out holding the roof. Well my friend was tired of her window being down and decided she was going to roll "her" window up. Well her buttons for her windows to be rolled up fell into her door slightly. She has an old mustang. Well instead of rolling her window up she rolled mine up. I saw my window rolling up and my first thought (probably a stupid thought, but funny) was" oh my window is rolling up, how nice." well my hand was still out the window. And just before she rolled it up fully I let out a screeched. I scared myself. HAHA but she stopped rolling the window up and looked my way. And she saw what could have been a disaster. She rolled it back down. And i told her" don't feel bad. It didn't hurt physically as much as emotionally."
