It's A Good Night...

I had 3 clients call me tonight for Childcare. And next weekend I already have 3 more coming, can't believe I am booked a week ahead of time! =) All of the kids are in bed now so I have a few minutes to be here before I go to bed myself. It's been a long night but a good one.
One of the father's told me he doesn't know how I do it, he said his own kids drive him crazy at times so he doesn't know how I watch other people's kids. I told him I love what I do, and he looked at me like I was a little nuts. I don't expect anyone to understand but I do love what I do! 
So, all of the kids will be leaving here at 9am, then I have to get my kids ready to sleep at their grandparents house tomorrow and my husband and I are going on our first date night in months! 
Good times.

That is great news! I couldn't imagine watching children like you do; it was hard sometimes with just one child, but that's because she was mine (and like me at my worst LOL). I was a Girl Scout leader for six years-I missed teaching the girls things like how to cook over an open fire.

Thank you! I do love it. And I know not everyone does but doing this keeps me going. =) Two of the boys told me this morning I am going to miss you Mrs. Jennifer. It was so nice to hear that and my heart melted! I just love what I do so much. =) And I really liked their parents too, I am hoping they come back.

Yes, you are very right that until and unless you love your job or what you do you just can not do it nicely and smoothly. Things become easier when one starts loving his job and finds oneself immersed in it. You love to take care of little kids without any fuss and wrinkles on your forehead and this makes it easier for you babysit. If you start thinking that it is like a headache to take care of little kids, then you may find it difficult to do.

Yeah I am glad I love what I do! =) This could never turn into a headache, I have done it for 14 years now and it never gets old! Two of the boys said to me this morning I am going to miss you Mrs. Jennifer! That melted my heart. Then they did not want to go home with their dad, the one boy said I am staying here with Mrs. Jennifer forever! I told his dad well at least you know they had fun here!

hi lovingmybabies good for you two so go have fun on that date as your children will be fine with their grandparents.i am glad you are getting more children to care for as you like your job and thuss are a good caretaker to the children.It is not an easy job
but you love children and believe me they feel this and will be happy with you and thus the parents too.Children are keen in knowing who cares for them.

Yeah, the kids go every weekend so they can go to Sunday School and Church with their grandma. =) Tonight will be the first time we have a little money to go somewhere together out of the house and just enjoy us.
I do love what I do and I think your right, I think the kids know it. Two of the boys said to me this morning, I am going to miss you Mrs. Jennifer! My heart melted it made me so happy. =) I am excited that I am getting so many calls now.

Yes, good times. I think some people just aren't into kids. You must have a good repore with the little ones. That is great! I wish I was better at it. I have had one daughter and guardianship of my granddaughter and now trying to help my daughter to raise my grandson. I just don't have the patience and they are long past childhood.

Well it is good times to me, Lol. I know some people just don't like being around children, I am the opposite. They keep me going and I have so much fun doing this!
And this morning two of the boys said to me I am going to miss you Mrs. Jennifer, my heart melted! =) Then they did not want to leave, they gave their dad such a hard time about actually leaving. It made me feel good though knowing they had such a good time here! I wish they could have stayed too, they were so good and sweet.

Oh I assure you Childcare is definitely NOT easy money! Lol. You have to have a lot of patience to have multiple children in your home each day. =)

That's good news for you. I must say I have respect for those whose profession involve child care. It is indeed hard enough to raise and take care of your own kids, much less other people's. But I know that it can also be rewarding, money aside. I think women who gets to take care of their own kids or who are hands on in bringing up their children are lucky. It is something that most mother would love to do. In a way I can also understand that taking care of children, even though they're not yours, can also be fulfilling.

It is rewarding. =) This morning two of the boys that were here said I am going to miss you Mrs. Jennifer and my heart just melted. It was so nice to hear that and to know they like being here with me. I hope those kids come back because they were the best kids to watch! =)

Unless someone has done what you do they will never full recognize just how rewarding looking after children is. I remember the relief of some of the parents when they dropped the children off at the nursery I worked at years ago. I know you enjoy what you do, but it's a shame that looking after children isn't well paid, and yet it's a huge responsibility looking after someone else's children! Have a wonderful time on your date, boy, you sure deserve it!

Yeah, most people don't know how amazing it is taking care of children! =) Two of the boys said to me today before they left, I am going to miss you Mrs. Jennifer, it melted my heart! Then they didn't want to leave when their dad came and they gave me the biggest hug. It was so sweet!
I know it is not good pay but it is worth it anyway. I am glad I can do something I love doing. =)

Yeah, we didn't end up going on our date actually. A last minute bill came in and we had to pay that instead... Oh well things happen, right? I am pretty used to it.
I know it is not for everyone but I truly love it and I am glad I can do it. =)

Sounds like you're doing just great LMB, compared to a few months ago! I'm very happy for you that things are turning out right now.

I'm so glad that everything's looking up. Specially with your recent troubles (the liar). I'm glad that the Childcare business is going well. I'm still hoping that this will be a continued success.

Thank you, me too. I am glad that whole thing is over and done with... And I am glad it did not go any further so it didn't affect my childcare. =)
Actually, we didn't get to go on our date after all. Bills...hate those things. Lol. We had to pay something important so we skipped the date.

No one should look at you like you're nuts. Some people just love taking care of children. As a matter of fact, my mother did that most of her life. No, she did not do it for money. She raised me and my brother, she took care of my little baby cousin years ago, my other cousin. She took care of my best friends children and my cousins kids a few years after that. Then she took care of my kids. So, to her it is a big thing. She is getting old now but still loved when my kids come on the weekends. So, I get what you mean about loving what you do.

Yeah, I am glad I found something that makes me happy doing. The extra money helps a lot too but it is mostly because I love what I do. The kids just make my day! =)

I love teaching I think wen my youngest is a bit older I can baby sit better. Next year my nephew is in school all day so I won't have to help look after him.
