In Bacolod Philippines, I have seen a campaign posters that composes senators with anti-RH Bill and Pro RH Bill. Anti is to Check sign and Pro RH are having sign X. The campaign poster is oversize so we do not allow them. Comelec must get some action about this. We should respect the church for not politicize the campaigners.
So, what is your opinion about this?

Hello Joshtabuena, Though it's possible that others post competitors posters so that they will be given violation. but the people in this diocese were completely aware of what they were doing and even sited that the bishops authority is absolute, maybe they should file charges against the bishop and send him to jail.

That should be put down. There are designated places to put those posters on. And definitely, placing one near a church is not one of them. Such crazy people to be just putting them on places without even thinking! The Comelec should penalize offenders.

Actually, the comelec has decided to cut down the poster in half but unfortunately there was way too big for them to cut and the poster won't be so pleasing to look. it's already awful as it is already when they put it outside church walls. the party should be penalized and be removed as candidates for the election.

I really do not mind if the church should start campaigning for certain candidates but they should follow what Comelec is asking them to do. Although I think the church is breaking the their own law by campaigning for certain candidates. They said in the past that they would not endorse anyone just guide the voters. Why now they have this list that names a particular candidates?

I agree with you. The Church is not part of any political propaganda. As concern citizens we should report this to comelec or other authorities responsible forputting down these banners, posters and other signage of political matters.

Hello Cobalt20, The CHurch doesn't really know the difference of what we call separation of church and state and they never learn. Not only they have intervene with political affairs, they are also endorsing candidates or political parties, which are really bad for the country. he comelec should file a case on them specially the bishop who allowed this, they're ignorant and a fool for defying comelec rules, not to mention hypocrite.
