Going back home-I appreciate help of the mylot friend.

As I have said, I had come to my elder son’s work place Hyderabad, with my wife on 1st of January 2013; every year we come here for 2 months. We will go back on 5th; we had bought tickets in advance for comfortable journey in 2tier air-conditioned compartment, the journey takes 24+ hours in train; plus the journey by taxi cab from home to railway station and vice verse. SEE THE TICKET
As we have made lot of purchases from malls here; clothes for grandkids at home; we have 10 small and big packages.
Normally my son goes with us and drops us in train and sees us off; but suddenly he has received order from office to travel on duty on 5th; his train is at 5am, ours at 9pm.
I was so much worried because I can’t walk properly; my wife has to hold me; though I use the walking stick for safety and stability.

In the railway station we have to walk, get over stairs to reach the right platform; from where the train will leave and they announce it 10 minutes earlier only.
Language is another barrier for us, most speak Telugu here; the ‘kulis’ who will carry the baggage may flew with our stuff unless one goes with them.
Now I am relaxed; my ‘mylot’ friend Sridhar who has visited us twice already has assured me to help me in all respects and see us off.
I appreciate this help of Mr. Sridhar, his mylot user name is yugasini.

A friend in need is friend in deed.
Do you have good friends who really help you when you need help of any kind?
Do you help others too?
Do you have to buy tickets well in advance?
How frequently you travel; I used to travel lots in connection with the practical examinations, viva voce, workshops and seminars earlier.
Please respond and share your views and experience.
Thanks in advance. Professor Dr. B.Saraf. PhD.
Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

I've got friends who are always willing to help out whenever I need them. I seldom travel now as I am stuck with house chores and kids.

What a nice story. Glad to hear you have such a good friend. Unfortunately, I thought I had a good friend. But, I told her something in confidence 5 years ago and she told someone else. Five years ago I was involved in a court case. I took her in my confidence about something our lawyer said. This "friend" told the other side what I said. It all came out in court, I felt betrayed, hurt, angry and upset all rolled in one.
I called her twice since then and she called me once asking why did I stop calling. I didn't want to get into a deep discussion so I lied and said oh been busy. Now I distrust everyone and lost quite a lot of friends since I stopped calling them all.
I have one so-called friend that does call me but once she gets the information she wants about a family matter went though, she says I got to go. This happend three times until I realized that was what she was doing. Guess I am way too trusting.

Thanks for sharing your story, there are persons whom we can't trust, we have 2 says, a mother whose son it bitten by snake is afraid of a rope lying on ground
and a person whose tongue was burnt while sipping tea, is very careful while sipping cold drinks, we need to be careful lol.

Dear Professor, wish you happy journey, what your words and writing is so impressed and you got help from the person Mr. Sridhar as a helping hand for your situation. Its good to know serving for elderly people will bless the younger generation or any generation, this is humanity and will give the peace for doing so. If i get any chances like this situation definitely i would like to do for anybody who are in need.
