I recently just heard the song "Little Things" by One Direction. I think it's a pretty sweet song. My favorite verse is: "You'll never love yourself half as much as I love you. You'll never treat yourself right, darling, but I want you to. If I let you know I'm here for you, maybe you'll love yourself like I love you." That part really touched me because that line seems so selfless, which is what unconditional love is. No offense to the current songs today because I do admit that there are a few good ones, but I admire the oldies but goodies kind of songs from the 80s more. I feel that the lyrics from 80s songs are deeper and more meaningful. But like I said, there are some good songs in these days as well. For example, "Little Things" by One Direction. How about you, what do you think? Which generation has the best kind of songs? =)

first of all love "little things" and what is there to compare they are each unique in their own era....you can never go wrong with oldies , then on the other hand you are right the 80's , they have their songs too. cindy lauper time after time. it also depends on the person who is listening to the song, we all have our own point of view and what may bring happiness to some in the same token it could leave a sour taste as well. but if i had to choose one era i pick the 80's half of today's music are remakes of the 80's or a little too much . hope you found interest.
