I mean not the one that you write online but the one that you actually write manually, I always start making a diary wrote a few and then boom when I get busy totally forget to write..
I also notice that I just remember to write on my diary when I am angry.. haha. hmm its actually like praying for me, sometimes I just remember to pray when I am in tough situation, I know its a bad habit and im totally working on it.
Anyway do you guys still write on your diaries?when do you usually write? is it when your happy or sad?

I used to have a diary which I kept on writing my daily events from 1983 until 1993. I just stopped writing when I gave birth to my first son. I no longer had the time coz of a lot of things to do in taking care of him, and at the same time I was in a hurry in finishing all my school/clinical requirements so that I could graduate on that year.
There were no skipped days during those times that I was writing on my diary. Whether I was happy, sad or angry, it was all there.

That is true! And I guess, this is my way of reconciling myself to my old self and look back at how crazy I was for falling for that guy. And for how foolishly I have become for hanging on so long for a love that was lost for so long. LOVE STRUCK crazy! hahaha!
I think that was the start of my passion for writing as well.....

It is still with me. Every time I read it, it does bring back good and bad memories. And it is almost impossible not to cry and laugh about the things that I did and the situations that I have been. My life was so colorful!

Hi!
To write one's inner thoughts is always going to help. When we get to write our inner feelings and conflicts it works wonder and it calms us down.
If you get to read your thoughts after few months, you may not believe what you wrote in your diary.
I would love to write a diary and now a days there are some on line sites, which allows you to maintain your own private diary.

Right! sometimes I do laugh on what I wrote before, I couldnt even belive that I did what I did, and having a diary is a great reminder to try to not to do it again, and also when I feel down, because you know sometimes there are things that you dont really like to share even to your closest friend.
Diary online are really good it's just that Im not good remembering password?

I agree with you that we could record those things in our diary which we do not even want to share with our closest friends.
Yes, diary reminds us about silly things done in the past and it allows us to amend ourselves.
If you wanna work on an on line diary, you could note down its password in your mobile phone.
Nice to meet you.

Ah, the one thing I've always wanted to do in life but never actually got around to doing it. I remember trying to initiate it a couple of times in the past but somehow within a week I was back to square one. I guess I was always looking for a reason to avoid doing it making myself believe it was not necessary. I still sometimes think I should give it another shot but it seems motivation or the lack of it is a massive roadblock. Sigh!

For a lazy bum like me, initiation is easily the biggest problem. But as you said if I start it once and establish a routine, I'll probably be able to continue. Having said that, I still feel its easier said than done.

Well,i still keep a diary and that has been the thing for last 18 years.I consider my diary as my close friend.I would normally buy a A4 sized diary with pages for all days.I would like to write the happenings of the day in full. And so far i have always wrote in full.I was not interested in writing online as i have not been comfortable with the idea.Besides there is always something special between the writing as well as typing.I am able to get more emotions done while writing than while typing.I am able to share things in diary which i would consider tough to share with others and without much thoughts.Plus it helps me to improve my memory and handwriting.Plus whenever i need motivation i need the special events and joyful moments in life.It really keeps things in the best way possible.I do not keep any specific time to write, whenever i find time i do write for the previous day in full.I treat my diary as best pal and can open my feelings and things.I do write about my feelings and thoughts alongwith the days happening. It also helps me in tough and emotional times as well.I guess i can continue this habit for a long time.I really hope i can do.Thanks!

No, I didn't keep a diary nowadays. When I was in high school, I do keep a diary because it's one of the requirements in our English class.. But then, even if I graduated in high school I still do write in a diary. It's fun writing to a diary it's telling someone a secret what happened to you the whole day. You can also write your happiest moments.

I always have a diary in me. In fact I've been writing for almost 9 years already. Sometimes, I don't know what to do anymore with them. I have collections of them. Because of the tough times lately, I can only write now for like 4 times a month, sometimes it would take months but I really keep a journal. I write whenever I have time. You get to know yourself better with it though:)

I usually write when I am sad and don't feel like sharing my thoughts with anyone. But the sadness needs to come out and so I pick up my diary and start putting down all the thoughts. i really feel better after that as if I have conveyed my thoughts and feelings to God.

Yeah, three years ago,i kept a diary almost everyday, but i seldom read them.I wrote down everything:my happiness,my sadness, wrote down what i saw.Diary is really a large amount of wealth,i always imagine when i get old,and i open my diary, read every word that keep a recode of my history, that will be so fun, mybe i'll move to tears. But now, i seldom write a diary, when i want,i will always forget it after a moment......

I tried to write on a diary I got from Starbucks planner. But it was only until mid of January's where my entries were made and now you can see that diary is empty. Hehehe so there I guess I am just lazy to keep track of my feelings and to write them down.

I finally stopped writing on my diary when I turned 21. However, I still consider myself as someone who has one because I have my online diary in tumblr. I have a personal blog which everyone can read but I also have one which serves as my own personal diary. It is more convenient for me to type and decorate my page. It saves up my money!!! Hehehe.. I like decorating my diary even if I'm the only one reading it. I just feel like it. So when I bought my own laptop, then I finally stopped writing on my notebook.

I used to keep one when I was a young kid, until my siblings decided to snoop in it and then because of that incident I lost interest. Now, I have a devotional journal for 365 days. It is also sort of like a diary but it is more on the spiritual and inspirational note. But of course, it's a journal, I can choose what to write about.

Hi ! I wrote diary during the age of pen and paper but when the computers arrived , all pens and papers were forgotten and do all recording of life's activity in the computer. We all have the social sites where we can say our shouts and screams like what we are doing in Twitter.Like what also others are doing in their facebook. When computers arrived we don't do any jotting of some beautiful times of our life because we are so in hurry of the many task to be done.

Hi, I have just appointed my first diary of life about ten days before. I write the diary regularly but I have missed two-three days still now due to very deep sleep at night that I don't have energy left to hold a pen. Sometimes I am just captured by the slumber that I forget everything and lay my head on pillow.

well congratulations I hope you'll be able to write every day , that will be really nice, and if you are living alone I think it's a good idea to keep it where you can see it, so it will increase the chance of you writing on it.
