Those are some good old times. But now recorders are available in compact sizes and you can carry it with you anywhere you like. In those days it is not possible to take a big tape recorder to every place you go. Take a loot at a recorder that can record files even from the next room

Hello Tushavi!
We have a few radios around the house and I have a tape recorder around here somewhere. I also still have a portable CD player. I don't really use it but I just don't want to get rid of it because it looks cool and is sentimental.
Hope you have a nice day aswell!
Happy MyLotting.

I have a 10 year old Sony DVD player with an inbuilt Radio and a tape recorder. I'm not sure if that counts. But, my grandpa does have an old (almost 30 years old I guess, maybe older) tape recorder and radio which he still uses in the mornings everyday. Its amusing sometimes when he adjusts the antenna of the radio. I've tried teaching him how to use his cell phone as a radio but he seems content with what he has.

Years ago I bought a receiver that supported radio am/fm, five CD player, duel tape decks, VCR, and television. This was all before DVD's. I still have all the equipment, but I don't use it now.

Oh I have about two radio/tape recorders from 80s year which still is working, but many buttons and one loud speaker don't want to work correctly so I listen to them very rarely. I also have one board player with many old school music boards and It is an awesome thing for parties.

I still have a walkman in our house. It runs on 2 AA batteries, so i always make sure that the AA batteries are still always good,
This walkman is being used when there is a typhoon and there's no electricity. It gives us the news outside while it's stormy.

We no longer have tape recorder at home. The last one we had was broken and was thrown. The machine was outdated and was not worthy of the repair fee we had to pay for it. The cassette tape collection that we had was also spoiled with fungus grown. I am sorry that I had to say goodbye to a lot of my favorite tapes but I have had them replaced in CD and DVDs.

Yes, I still have my old radio with a tape recorder and CD player. We still use it to listen to AM radio since the mobile devices only have FM radios. The radio runs on electricity and battery which is very crucial when there are typhoons and the power is cut off. However, batteries tend to be expensive hence we only use these items when there is no electricity which is very often when there are strong winds and rain. The tape recorder has never be used. Even the CD player we hardly use now inasmuch as what we have are DVD's.

Before, we have a tape recorder also , Think when I was still in elementary but then cassettes recorder already obsolete and so it was being replaced into vcd player and then it was obsolete again it was replaced into dvd player. Our technology are changing tremendously and so we will be left behind if we are not going to the flow of updating our appliances.

I still have a radio tape recorder. And even more, I also have a record player for vinyl records. I have a big collection of those from other times. I`d say those records lasted longer thatn the new ways of lkistening to music.

I still have my Sony Tape Recorder with me. I used it before when I was reviewing for my Dental Board exams. Luckily, it is still functioning well until this time, although the kids never really had the need to use it. So I just kept it.

Earlier we had a tape recorder at home when i was a kid. The shelf used to be full of audio casettes but now its replaced with cds and dvds.i dont remember when but my parents had given that tape recorder for free to someone. Tape recorders are kind of extinct now. I dont think it may be available somewhere nowadays.
