want to watch all his films. Sometimes I get motivated to see again a movie or read again a book when something new motivates me to do so. This new biographical movie about Hitchcock and his wife Alma has made me want to see again a lot of movies I saw decades ago. The one movie I saw just a while ago was "Vertigo". I had missed it when it came out the first time. When I remember the movies I have seen from Hitchcock, I think that Vertigo is for me his best. Have you seen some of Hitchcocks`s movies? Which one is the one you prefer? Did you know that some of his characters are a perfection as psycho frsaks, such as Norman Bates in Psycho?

I have probably seen all of Hitchcock's movies. I also saw one on Lifetime recently about the actress that was in The BIrds and Marnie. He was pretty weird from what they depicted in the movie. The Norman Bates character was taken from a actual serial killer I have heard. His name is Ed Gein. He was an odd ball.

I read about that (Norman Bates and a real serial killer). But it is so very well done!!! And the character was also very well acted.

Must be because of the new movie about the making of Psycho. Still, my favorite is Vertigo.

I love Alfie's films. I call him Alfie. For a long time my favorite was Rear Window. But now my favorite is North By Northwest. Both are stylist and have some comedy to them and great plot. In fact that describes most of Alfie's films. I love to search for him in each film. You know he makes a cameo in Every film. In fact I have a list of his cameos. I saw one of his films Just to find him!

You know I often read more online for my posts. Just now, I read in Wikipedia that Vertigo has become number one in the greatest films of all times. I`m glad because I never liked Citizen Kane. I didn`t know that he made a cameo in every one of his films. Now I`ll look up on that. I`m planning to see again all his movies.

Probably North by Northwest (anything with Cary Grant)... I haven't seen any of them in a long time though.

I will take them out at blockbuster as soon as I get my hands on them. Probably it is because I`m old, but I like better the old actors.

I honestly don't think that I've ever seen any of the Hitchcock films simply because of the fact that they are not a genre that I find that I am particularly interested in. However, I do think that it would be interesting to see the film about him because I believe that something like that would give you a lot of insight into who the man that had written the books and such was.
I do think that I might have an interest in seeing some of his films if I was to see the film that is about him.

What kindof films do you like, Dorann? I find that even if psychological thriller are part of Hitchcock`s films, there are otheres that are more detective like.

I love Hitchcock movies. The first movie I saw was North by Northwest and then I simply fell in love with his directing style and became a huge Hitchcock fan.Vertigo left me speechless. That bell tower scene is so sad and shocking.I would say it's one of the best movies together with Psycho,Strangers on a Train,Marnie and Rebecca.Rear window is a bit overrated to my mind.OK, this guy is spying on people in their apartments and then he gets caught by that criminal who's crime he had witnessed. It didn't scare me like it was in Psycho because I expected that neighbor to come after him.The lesson of this story is not to look through your windows all the time because you might see something you don't want to see.:)

I see that you have seen several Hitchcock movies. Some of them should be put on the big screen again so that the new generations see how I saw it years ago. I could never separate Anthony Perkings from Norman after Psycho.

James Stewart in Vertigo is hotter than hot!!! I loved the movie and, no need to say it, the actor.
