Do you believe we are living in the last days that are described at 2 Timothy Chapter 3? I think it's just like reading the newspaper. People nowadays sure fit this description:
"But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be
lovers of themselves,
lovers of money,
self-assuming,
haughty,
blasphemers,
disobedient to parents,
unthankful,
disloyal,
having no natural affection,
not open to any agreement,
slanderers,
without self-control,
fierce,
without love of goodness,
betrayers,
headstrong,
puffed up [with pride],
lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God,
having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power..."
(I just shaped the lines a little different to make it look interesting, Lol.)

Actually you would see it in the Bible not just in 2Timothy, even in the old testament, it was already predicted how the end times will look like. And based on what I know and understand, yes we're living in the time where the end is near, we just don't know when it'll be but we need to be ready, that's the purpose of writing it down to let the people know that the end will come but the day is unknown so you just have to be ready because anytime can be the end, maybe today, tomorrow, the day after and after that, next week, next month, next year, or even the next hour, or minute or even second, it might be at the end of me writing this, it might be anytime we just don't know. "He will come like a thief in the night"

You are right these things have been happening for a long time.
God told us to watch for the signs so that we know the season of the end of age...
all these things and more will be happening like a woman in labor......
meaning that the closer we get to the end of the age all these things will be happening closer together, and with much more intensity.
I believe that the start of the end of the age started when the prophesy of Israel becoming a nation in may of 1948, and the 1967 war.....I believe that we are the generation that will not pass until all the prophesy that the Bible talks about happens.
All we can do is get right with God...Pray for understanding, and watch for the signs.......

Thanks for your comments.
Please ignore the last line of my discussion where I mentioned how I shaped the lines to make it interesting.
Mylot lined them up straight after I hit send.

I sure do. When I was first saved back in 1970 I didn't think His coming was all that near but then God had me realize that Israel got back on the map in 1948 after almost 2,000 years of non-political / geographical existence. My message on Sunday was from 1 Thessalonians 5:4-7. Brw, the latter portion of Romans 1, sad to say, is indicative our time.

It sure is going to be rough for some that fall by the way side on the way to the promise land.

I think so. However, there are other sequence of events that the Bible is revealing before the final "last days". One is the gospel of Matthew chapter 24.

" do you believed we are living in the last days that are described at 2 Timothy Chapter 3 "
--- all signs pertaining to the so called " last days " or " end times " that was revealed not only from the new testament, but even from the old testament, all those signs were already seen in these times, except for one, which is the ultimate sign that we can be sure the coming of Jesus Christ is very near.

This is just like reading today's newspaper. And it has been worse and worse all the time.
It is comforting to know that we live in the end of this system, as this is not the only scripture that identifies our time to be the last days.
Better times are ahead..
