For The First Time Ever I've Actually Enjoyed A Bond Film!

I'm talking about 'Skyfall' of course which we've just watched on DVD (well, I have, John fell asleep because he had to go to work this morning) but, I enjoyed it all the same. Usually, during Bond films I lose interest about half way through but I didn't this time. Maybe it was a combination of action and a decent script? Plus the music WENT with the film. Makes a change! I was very pleased the 'one liners' have made a comeback too, not just from Bond either. Brilliant stuff. I even like the theme tune from Adele! I always knew Daniel Craig would come good in the end lol.

ahhh I loved James Bond movies.. but I don't like Daniel Craig and Timothy Dalton. My favorites are, Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. I thought or in my imagine, Daniel Craig is too short as James Bond. and Timothy Dalton... I don't find him appealing. Anyway, yes, I have Skyfall too... It was nice.

I am a cheapskate, I am still waiting for it to come down in price LOL. I did want to go and see this at the cinema but I had no one to go with and I feel too self conscious about going on my own, besides it's not cheap the cinema, and usually I am unlucky enough to sit by someone who is always on their mobile phone or who is forever getting up to go to the toilet :o( Daniel Craig is not my favourite Bond, but I am glad they are still making and I have heard recently that they are starting the next one! I haven't seen it still, probably wait till it comes on Sky Premiere. Glad you enjoyed it.

I'm a big fan of Daniel Craig anyway as he's a brilliant actor. I don't really care if he hasn't got the right colour of hair, he has the personality of Bond just right (according to Mum, who's read the books) and that's good enough for me. In actual fact, I might take the DVD to Mum's and play it there as I know she'll love it too. John paid £10 for the DVD in Morrisons. It's sad that we didn't try HMV (is it any wonder they're closing when we don't even bother going in) but, what can you do? I hope you get to watch it sometime as it's brilliant and I agree with your cinema comment as well. The last film I went to see was 'Seabiscuit' with John and that's before the independent cinema we went to closed down. We have one of those Vue places but I can't stand them. No soul and extremely irritating people go in there...usually kids.

I've seen the first Harry Potter film on television so I'm even worse than you lol. It doesn't surprise me that HMV is selling 'Skyfall' for £14.99. This is why they're in trouble in the first place. It's no good blaming downloads, etc, when the physical DVD they sell is dearer than everywhere else..and ALWAYS has been, which is why they went t*ts up (pardon my French).

I saw Skyfall by shear chance. I decided to see it when I got to the movie house. Biy am I glad I did! I agree. Finally Bond sounds like the Sean's version of Bond. I never could see Pierce as Bond. way too wooden and arrogant! the first Bond with Craig missed the one liners and some of the style of old. I thought I wouldn't like Craig's Bond so I didn't even see the second film! But this one Is how A Bond film should be. I think the villain is one of the best bad guys Ever! and yes the music reminded me of John Barry. He composed the music for Goldfinger and many of Sean's films.I was so glad Adele got her best song Oscar.

The second film is good too! In fact, Daniel Craig has evolved over time into the perfect Bond we see now. Mind you, the script helps and I think this film had a brilliant mix of action and fab dialogue. The goriest bit was the baddie taking his teeth out. Gross!

I have watched other Bond films and even if I really am not into action films, well Bond films are an exception. The portrayal of Pierce Brosnan was I loved the most. Even when he was still at the show of Remington Steele, I have already thought of him as perfect to be James Bond.

Because of his looks or his acting abilities?

He's got the looks alright, but more than that, he acts great. And the way he carries himself is just like how Bond should be.

Well, in my opinion, it's definitely the best one with Daniel Craig in it. Rumour has it that Danny Boyle's making the next one!

Hi there, i watched this movie in the cinemas and watched it again last week here at home with my mom. :D I like the movie so much and the characters are all great! ehehe. I loved the action in here and the exchanges of lines in the movie makes it even great. As my brother and i was discussing, skyfall was was one of the most believable bond stories as we can see that Bond is also a person,a human subject to being hurt. unlike previous bond movies where he seemed like he is too good of an agent, never even hurt at least like that of the character of daniel's.

Some people have slagged the film off for making Bond so unfeeling (the scene where that lady gets shot by the baddie not long after Bond had bedded her was the main one) but, Bond is supposed be an unfeeling b*stard at times. That's why he showed no emotion. He was more bothered about his Aston Martin being blown up later on. I can't wait to show the film to Mum when I stay there in a few weeks as she's always said that Daniel Craig has the PERSONALITY of Bond spot on.

I'm not to into Bond films but my husband and daughter love them. They haven't seen the new one yet but they're also not too thrilled with Daniel Craig being Bond. My husband is easy to please and he likes most of the Bond's but not Daniel Craig. My daughter on the other hand love Sean Connery and Pierce Bronson. She's very specific in what she likes.

Well, if he liked the past humourous Bonds he SHOULD like the latest film as it's made a comeback. Some brilliant one-liners in it.

There's been a lot said about this Bond film, as being the best. Mostly people say that it was more gritty, and Bond showing a more human side. Although I liked it as well, I have expectations when I watch a Bond film. I like to see gadgets and nice cars and beautiful ladies. I was a bit disappointed in this aspect.
