How can some one just drop a tiny baby off, like it is tomorrow's trash? If a mother doesn't want to raise their child they could drop it off at a hospital, police station or even welfare (CPS).One could even let family have it or let family decide what to do with a child but just abandon it! Check out the story of baby Chloe here gma.yahoo.com/cops-abandoned-baby-chloes-tooth-search-parents-183407713--abc-news-topstories.html
Now who's to say that the parents did this? Maybe some one got to the parents and baby Chloe was in their way? The only good thing that came out of this situation is that the baby is doing o.k.

I am so glad she is doing okay. And you are so right. They have places to drop them off and there are no questions asked. We had a baby dropped in the Mississippi river and the mother put little keepsakes in with the baby....They still have no clue who could have done it.

We can all say she/ he could of done this, but if they were young and not thinking properly. If they thought they would get in trouble, or even charged. Althought dropping the kid off like that would get you charged. I feel sorry for this child, and I am sure this happens more often than not.

I read it and it said the baby was put in a plastic bag outside and therefore they wanted the baby to die. You just said the baby was dropped off and to me it is leaving the baby at a hospital or church, etc. You gave me the wrong impression that leaving the baby at a hospital, church, or safe haven is a bad thing.

Sorry, I gave you the wrong impression, but I thought I mad myself clear by stating " drop a tiny baby off, like it is tomorrow's trash? If a mother doesn't want to raise their child they could drop it off at a hospital, police station or even welfare (CPS).One could even let family have it or let family decide what to do with a child but just abandon it! Sorry if that lead you to believe they dropped if off at a hospital, church or safe haven, the baby would have been better off there!!

Here we have an expression "drop the kids off at the daycare center" or "drop the baby off at the nursery," so the term drop the baby off means not abandoning. For if you had said, "put the baby in a plastic bag and tossed it outside," or "dump it in the trash," that would have been clear. Besides then how would you have said about someone who went to a convent, church, fire station, or hospital and placed the baby there so some loving couple could adopt her or him? You would have to search for the correct designation of what she was doing. You could not say abandon the baby, because I would have immediately thought of someone putting the baby in a dumpster or a place where if not found, the baby would die.

I read about the dear little baby girl found in a supermarket carrier bag in Texas. I can't imagine how any lady could do that to an innocent newborn baby. |Maybe someone other than the mom did this. I am delighted that baby Chloe is still alive after her terrible ordeal. It is excellent news that she is doing well.

Unless the baby is like Stewie Griffin, the police will have a very difficult time finding Baby Chloe's parents. It is possible that the parents were mugged or something and the baby got left there, but I guess the police have a process of determining what happened. Maybe eventually they'll get to that conclusion, maybe not. I'm sure their methods are effective, or else the government wouldn't rely on them in the first place.

Oh, what a cute and sweet baby abandoned by parents like a trash. The parents may suffer torture from their guilt.

This have become rampant lately. Where has their conscience gone to? I could not imagine how a mother would just leave her child in such situation. Hasn't she ever thought of loving the child while the child was in her womb? Even if she says that she got pregnant by a person whom she doesn't love or it is the result of a rape, still, it is from her own flesh and blood.

Ever thought about the fact how hard it can be to drop a child? To let it go? Or how in panic or need a person can be? Ever thought about the fact that you can't just dump/drop your baby at the police station or hospital or family or friends or neighbours just can't easily adopt a not wanted child? Our society is made that way it's not possible anymore. Only 30-40 years ago it was, it was normal and kids were not left behind. I Always wonder how come nobody (although there are so many people over here talking about being depressed, women who had children, have no mother feelings, are in need, are kicked out by their family etc etc) has any consideration with the parent(s). Nobody is ever asking what might have driven a parent that far to do such a thing. Society is cruel, family is, men just drop pregnant girls/women because they are not ready to be a parent, etc etc.

How sad the parents are because they just drop their angel so easily. Babies are blessings to a couple so it should be cherish to have one, but what happened to baby chloe she was just drop like that. Parents like that should be punished.
It is so good to hear that the baby is good and i hope and pray that their will be someone who will take good care and give love to that baby, 'coz at a certain age her parents don't show love to that angel.
