Murli Vijay has played superbly and still going strong steering India ahead in reaching their goal. He just achieved his 50 in the match. Great going Murli Vijay. Keep it up.

Hello anuraa32, Your expectation is realized. Now you may be very happy since Murali Vijay has completed century and batting with 129 runs. He with Pujara [162 not out] brought a marvelous day for India. Now India is 311/1 and only miracles can save Australia from defeat in this Test too!

Murali Vijay managed to score 150+ runs. It was a dedicated innings. He batted with more patience that usual and made a good partnership with Vijay.

I think this is going to be a landmark innings for Murali Vijay. Not only the fact that he managed to get a century here and show some form, it was the manner in which he did it. He curbed his natural instincts and did not play a shot in anger in the first session of the game. Then he came onto his own in the next two sessions. There was only one blemish in the whole innings, the missed chance by Clarke. Cheers! Ram

That doesnt matter, the missed chance. SO many greats have that in the innings which have centuries. That is not a blemish, that is a good luck sign. He is in form.
