I really enjoy the anonymous culture in mylot(English) and some other sites(Chinese). I like it because I can put away some of my real role in real life and taste some experiences I might never have. (I like to pretend I know nothing about something, but actually, I am a profession in that area~ I know it seems ridiculous, but it is quite fun to watch other guys trying hard to solve something you have already know~)
It is a good place to play some harmless joke, but it seems that there are more and more people join the internet for something bad. I doesn't mean the scam or cheats because they are not bad but "illegal!" There are more and more people swearing or speaking ill of others in the place for free chat (not in mylot, but some other Chinese forums).
There is an old teaching in my culture, "An ideal person does nothing bad even in a place where no one can see." We might not be ideal, but in anonymous internet, we shouldn't do things that we shouldn't do in real life.
By the way, my account name is a combination of my old nicknames. My nicknames came from my old hairstyle, for it looked like "something" + mushroomhouse~

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes u are absolutely right, i know it is hard to be an ideal person in life but we can make efforts to stay as normal and harmless as possible, so that we do not hurt others by our actions. I can understand what u r trying to point out and i hope people become aware of their actions online.
What say?
