Setting limits or going with the flow

When you start discussions do you go with the flow, or do you set a limit for yourself? I havent been on here for a very long time, but I missed it. I have never set a limit on myself because I could never reach it. I always go with the flow and if I have something to write I will write it, and some days I could sit here and not think of one thing to say :)

I'm more of a go with the flow. Let's face some days there just isn't time to be here. Other days I just don't want to or can't wrap my head around anything enough to say anything intelligent so log aback out. Mood is a big motivator for me. Can say that mylot has helped me in housework...yup you heard that right. Do a response, throw in a load of laundry...do a response, clean up the kitchen. That way I'm constantly busy all day but then don't have to sit here all day or be cleaning all day. I'd say more but I have a toilet to go clean

Go with the flow? I go with what I think will get good responses and ones I think that members I deal with will find interesting and thought provoking. I hope you will post some good ones and get us going. We really need to have more posts and something to get us going. If you keep a pad and pencil near you at all times you can write down ideas as they come to you.

I don't set limits as i just do what I can when I am in here. It is okay to set goals but a person can also get stressed out trying to reach that goal. I prefer to just come here and have fun, and now worry about how much I do or how much I am going to make while I am in here. I don't even stress out if I don't make payout every month, which I normally don't do anyway. I think the best thing is to just do what you can do, and have fum, and not owrry about how much you are going to do or make. Take care,a nd have a great day.

Yeah I'm the same way with starting discussions and responding to discussions even. I never set limits for myself. I know if I did I would never reach them. So I just go with the flow. There have been days that I could just find nothing to respond to, or I really don't have much to say and I won't start discussions. But there are times that I have a lot to say and I will start a few discussions. So I just go with the flow. I think everyone should do that and stop setting limits. It would be more fun that way if I didn't set limits.

I think I have ever only reached payout once here lol, but I do it for fun too and not really the money or I would never be away from comp :) I have days like that too when I could rattle on and on about stuff and the next I might want to tell people to go away haha. Thank you for your response :D

Personally I have found that ideas for discussions come along like buses, I will wait for weeks and not have one single discussion to post, then all of a sudden I will come up with 3 or 4 great discussions to post on one day. Don't think I've ever posted more than 4 in one day all the time I've been on Mylot!

hi elemetal I never or at least try never to make more discussions than I can comment back on all the responses I get,I feel its very rude not to give them a comment back and its not justhank you its a real comment that will pay me well and will make my discussion open up.If one does not comment back to their rsponses on their own discussion you miss making it a many sided conversation between fellow my lotters.

Thats very good advice Hatley thank you! I do intend on replying to everyone that comments on my posts as I think its very ignorant not to. If people go to the effort of reponding to your comment its the least you could do to aknowledge that. :)

Well, I am not here everyday. Yet whenever, I am here, I do go with the flow, and time available and respond to as many discussions as I can. Sometimes, I can respond to 20 discussions, sometimes 10 and this number varies always.

I really seldom post my own discussion. Most of the time I just participate in other's discussion. The only time that i post my own is when I feel such urgency to share something to Mylot.

I think it depends on what mood I am in at the time I am here, if I am in the mood for posting my own then I will, but I also find at times that I cant find a discussion that I know anything about or can offer advice, or comment on, or someone else has given the best advice :D

I don't set limits because then it is forced, more like a job rather than fun. I have enough stress in my life so I try to keep being here fun. =) It is the one thing in my life that I can truly say I love doing! If I set limits I would not be here as often because it would not be as enjoyable.

That is so true! And I also think that if its something fun and you enjoy doing it, its comes easier and the little bit of money made is an added bonus :) Have a great day :D

no i do not set a limit or count how many discussions would i response or construct in a day. because that is so tiring. when i am responding to any discussions started by any members here, it will be based on my interest and i just scape to topics which do not capture me. it does not matter if i can reach the quota or not. what matters most is that i am enjoying with what i am doing to be stress free. so that's it. thanks for sharing this to us:)

I am not going to set limits on myself either just go with the flow too. Yesterday I started some discussions, and today I think I will respond and comment to other members. That way I get the best of both and can interact more with other members. Thank you for your comment :)
