I have been busy working on things for the spring craft sale. Not only that but I got two orders I had to fill by last thursday so had to fit that in too. I am enjoying making all these things for the most part. And I appreciate the orders but they always seem to come when I am already busy! But I have completed the orders and got tons of things done for the sale. I am excited to do the sale as I missed the Holiday show due to other plans. I am posting a photo....the bunny on the left holds a Hersheys nugget....the bunny on the right covers a peanut butter cup. So are you crafting for the spring season?

I am doing my craft now which is cross stitching. I finished some now which I will give to my cousin in exchange of something. She says that she will put the cross stitch that I had done at her bedroom. I wish there will be crafts sale here in our area too like the one that you will have there. Goodluck!

bluespygirl...do you do counted cross stitch or printed cross stitch? I started at age 8 doing printed cross stitch. Later in life, long time later...I looked into the counted as I couldn't find printed anymore, and to me, counted was just to much work to be enjoyable...counting on my own. how many x's to make and where. So I never did it but have lately been thinking of taking up printed again, but can't find any good patterns. where to you get your patterns, if doing printed cross stitch. I also have been wanting to teach my grand daughters...this is something we could do togehter and they could take back and forth with them.

I do counted cross stitch. I had attached a picture here of the recent one that I had done. Tell me what you think about it? I am at lost doing printed cross stitch. What I can do too is the simple ones which don't have much colors. I hope I can do better soon.
There are no store who sell patterns and threads here in our town now! I get my materials in the main city of our province and sadly, there is only one store now. That store only have photocopied patterns which is much cheaper that the one being sold in DMC stores in malls. I keep my patterns with me now because of that. I wish kids will take time to learn a craft. It is nice to have one. I like receiving personalized items. It makes me feel special.

These are quite cute and creative. I have a big event I am doing with my jerky and my hand crocheted items this next Saturday and Sunday. My first one this yr as well. City will be good to be doing events again when I can until I get things going more from sales here at my home as well. Just trying to come up with some more solid looking signs since I have my business license to where I center sell from home.

Well, I need to make some money. Still need to figure out what I have. I know the jerky can be a big hit if in the right spot as well. I need to start discussions and show pictures of some of the stuff I have crocheted.

I have often thought about crafting for craft fairs year-round but I just can't ever seem to get enough items to validate renting a space. Though not crafting for a fair yet, I have made 2 baby blankets for friends that had babies this year already and made over 2 dozen dish cloths. I am hoping to start some plastic canvas needlepoint soon. I have also launched my etsy site so I can hopefully make a few bucks by selling my designed patterns.

I make crafts but I don't know how people who travel from craft fair to craft fair do what they do seems like a lot of work.

Those are cute! I keep busy doing things just for myself and the family locally, it seems. I can't do as much as I used to, so I just do what I can. I've been working on making Easter baskets for the table and the newest granddaughter as well as knitting house shoes for myself.
I miss not being able to craft more, though.

The bunnies are very cute! You are really creative. I am thinking of making some crafts for Easter for my son too, but I have not start any, as I am busy with my work recently. I have just found a tutorial in knitting the Easter eggs and basket, I might give it a try. But, it's using circular needles which I have not learned or tried before. Hope I'll get enough time to get them done for the Easter.

Good luck with the craft sale. I use to do them, but now don't have the time. My daughter has made a few latch hooks, but she is working 2 jobs and going to college full time.

Those are really cute jillhill...and best thing? Something the kids can buy! You didn' mention the price but I'd venture to say it'd be within a kids allowance money! But also...cute table seating markers (just add the name) or for in a basket or for the teacher or just a little thing to give...therefore need to buy alot! Good luck to you! I wish I could do the same. I did crafts years ago, but never was able to make any sales. Now I am quilting and opened an Etsy Shop and have a few in a local consignment shop. No bites yet, but maybe... Come back and share your sucess!

Oh my goodness, those bunnies have to be one of the cutest things that I've seen in quite a while. Absolutely adorable.
Now me, I haven't really gotten into doing any crafts for a while now because I've just been busy with other things that have been going on in my life and I've also been trying to get this house straightened up. I hope that I will be able to get started on making regular crafts in addition to my digital art at some point in the near future.

I am so happy for you jill! I'm still the new kid on the block but I'm gearing up with several shows for 2013. I have noticed that in this business it's feast or famine so I'm thinking of ways to use famine time to prepare for the next season. I've got a web site and blog in that web site. I've got people actually reading my blog and bookmarking the darn thing!? Who knew? I didn't think anyone would care.
Now I'm looking for those white tent like things to protect us and my product from rain in open market art and craft sales. My first one is in the end of July! I'm trying to think of candles for that show as the spring will have come and gone by for that one.
In our gated community I'm giving out marketing material just to introduce myself in June. It includes a tea light candle but these are for just my friends and neighbors up there.
I'm already stressed over that one and it's only the beginning of March!
Thank goodness my passion is gel candles!
I'm taking your advice and making sure I don't spend much time and gas going to shows and craft shops too far away!
It sounds like you have some work ahead of you and THAT is exciting news!!!!

You always do the cutest little things! I can't believe Easter is just right around the corner already. Were the orders for these little bunnies or for your cards?
I haven't done any crafts in so long already. The only silly stuff I do is with my granddaughter just messing around. I do miss crafting. I hope when I move I can find a two bedroom apartment (keeps fingers crossed) so I have more room to do this. I still have quite a bit of craft stuff left which is good...I can't seem to part with it yet as I'm hoping things change a little.

You always produce amazing items to sell. The most I've done is stick stones on a dragonfly that I particularly like as the stones were lose. Nothing creative there. The bunny with the hershey nuggets looks so very cute. You must be able to sell a ton of
and I wish you every success. It always seems as when you have work then other work comes in. Thank God you are able to do it!
