Do you think its really needed to launch enhanced hardware frequently?

Intel has already launchad quad-core processer after their success of dual-core processre. ADM is also going to launch their quad-core on next year. Is there really so tuch speed needed? Its only needed for the mad gamers and multimedia industries. Actually this enhancement is done to overtake the competitor in business.

Actually as you know this all business and competition. The processor's are getting outdated the minute they come out, this is more so in the case of graphic cards where a new and updated card with new technology comes every one week.
I think no one really wants these new processors two come. They are very costly and commercially no one is ready to buy. But in the future as software develops the requirement might increases but currently it is just intel and amd having wrestling match between them.
