We have paid our property taxes for this year just to get it out of the way. And now, it's just the income taxes. Our accountant is on it. I can't wait to learn about US federal tax laws so I can use my being an accountant to do taxes. I am a CPA from Manila so I only have knowledge of the Philippine tax laws.

good for you for getting your taxes done so early!
our taxes here in Canada are due at the end of April and we probably won't owe any money but hubby hasn't had any time to look at it lately. he did buy the program from Walmart and will do ours, our 19 year old's (she is at college but has to do one because of her loans) and a client that he does bookkeeping for (which will probably owe money.)
anyways, i am not too worried.

Just did my taxes too, although I am not living in the USA, have to admit it was the first time I did it that fast. Our taxes/government filled in a lot already. To be honest I was kind of alarmed as I read what they know about me. Started to make me think what to change. Big brother is watching me for sure and it doesn't feel that great at all.

Great deal, I used to deal with that every year when I lived in the usa. I hated to get
that call, your taxes are ready can you come in and sign them. I was lucky and only had to pay 2-3 times. the other years I got a refund. Take care there.![](/Content/images/emotes/wub.gif)

Fortunately that is something that I don't have to do, unless you are self employed the taxes are paid automatically out of your wages.

Our family actually does get a tax return on an annual basis because of the child tax credit and also because of EITC because my husband doesn't make a ton of money at his job. So I'm always one of those people that is among the first to get my annual taxes done so that we are able to get that money in our pocket as quickly as possible. However, I do know what you mean about dreading it because that is something that my mother has been going through for years. I remember helping her do her taxes while I was growing up quite literally during the 11th hour.

I would not have only lost pounds on checking what is needed during this kind of season in our country, but I have also missed a lot of of sleep! It would take me about a week to be able to reconcile everything. Well, I don;t get to have a vacation after, still work was my priority.

Wow, so you've just done a good citizen must do. It is really worth a feeling of comfort thinking that you have a accomplished and solved one of your obligations Sometimes we are depressed thinking of something that we must do or obliged to do and for that we always lost weight for reason of unstable feelings, but one's it will be accomplished then a feeling of satisfaction is all that matters
