Stumbled..Twice the same day!

India

Hi all :) Yesterday i stumbled twice while walking. Luckily i did not fall on the road. Lol. First it was in the morning while going in my room. The road is not well developed here and there's no footpath. I lost my balance but somehow got hold of it. Then second was when i was returning to my room at night after work. There are no street lights and and headlight from the oncoming vehicles made it impossible for me to see the road while walking. The ground was not levelled and i again stumbled. This time too i did not fall..lucky me. I kept cursing the government for this. Had i falled i would have come under a vehicle and got killed then and there.

I stumble once before and fall face down indirectly. Luckily for me, i only suffered minor bleeding. The ground i jogged on is uneven and full of pothole. Obviously it was constructed with very bad workmanship and backward civil engineering technique, i can never understand how any road can be constructed without taking its level first to make sure it is built on a straight level ground before laying its asphalt and compacted. The pavement work is badly done and contain serious flaws. I can not even believe road like this can pass the inspection from public safety department. I am glad you didn't even fall after stumbled, it is not a pleasant experience for anyone.

The roads here are never good except the national highways. Yes i was lucky to have not falled. It's terrible construction here too.

Haha. I know you must have felt very bad that time. It's easy to laugh on others but difficult to laugh on oneself.

I assume another possible cause behind these repeated occurrences. You may be making poems on walking then and was a bit absent minded. It seems time is a bit unfavourable to you. After health problems now these minor accidents. So be a bit cautious!

Haha. Not exactly making poems. But i did was thinking something else. I don't remember what i was thinking. Lol.

You were lucky that you didnt fall down. Is that place without street lights? The place would b really unsafe at night then. Our government just says about development they just dont care if its developed or not. The highways are properly maintained but the small roads are left like that. They will see only if some accidents occur there. Dont you think so? Take care bro

Yes there's no street light here. The roads are not smooth like not well developed. The edges are up and down. So usually my one leg is down while the other one is on road.
