Do you have a firearm in your home?

I just really don't like guns of any type.not even toy guns and the only
gun my grandboys were allowed to have were those huge super soakers..
I didn't care how small or even how plastic they were they were not
allow to have them..
I know a lot of people own guns for certain reasons..My brother owns
several guns because he is an avid hunter...but he has them locked in
a gun cabinet,,,thank God there are no children in his house..
For what reason would you own a gun??? if you own one...

There's one in our home only because my mom is a police officer. If she wasn't there wouldn't be one around because I have a 17 month old daughter getting into things.

She does, she keeps it in a very high area and it's locked in the holster on her belt. My daughter is scared to go in the closet anyway, so she's good for now.

My husband and I both have our FOID cards, and my husband has a .22 Rifle. It is kept well out of reach of our toddler, the bullets are kept separate and locked up. My husband was given his by his grandfather. We have used it for some target shooting. IF an intruder were to enter our house, it would be better used as a scare tactic or a bludgeoning weapon.

i do a rifle here. As I own a cafe here in my home. But I honestly dont know how to use it. its my dads.
