For the past weeks I have been eating boiled peanuts only for supper. I always buy a worth 10 pesos of it, because it’s my favorite. I wasn’t even exercising anymore. Yet, my new uniform has loosened , that I have to bring it to the sewer tomorrow, since it’s a wash day.
I researched about boiled peanuts and it said that it helps in losing weight. And what’s more it helps in lowering bad cholesterol and increasing our good cholesterol.
See for yourself its good benefits….

Yes, just make sure that you don't have allergies, gout as well as arthritis. Make sure that your uric acid is on the normal level lest you will have a problem later.
Indeed it is so filling. After eating 2 cups (with shells) of it, and you have drank water, you will already feel so full.

Actually, i eat them after i have exercised in the evening. It's already my supper.
But for the almost one month now, i wasn't exercising anymore. Though, i just avoid eating a hearty supper at night. Thus, since boiled peanuts is my favorite, i would buy two cups of it when i reached the town where i am to take a pedicab to the subdivision and not eat supper anymore.

I know my dear. Luckily , i don't have arthritis. My uric acid in fact is very much on the normal level.
Though i have osteoarthritis on my knees, and it's the "wear & tear" form of arthritis, not from eating beans family or those with uric acid. So, i dance to exercise but not in a way that it will put so much pressure on my knees.

Peanuts are very delicious but you might want to slow down in eating that because it is bad for elders. I think that is called uric acid. You should have a balanced meal plus exercise if you want to loose weight properly. And if you stick to peanut diet, chances are that your body will get weak because of the lack of nourishment from other food. And one more thing, fruits help you as well.

Peanuts is indeed a versatile food. Anyway it is cooked , it's delicious.
I also like Peanut brittle. Though, it's sweet so it should be eaten not often.

the only time i really, really like peanuts is when it's boiled, because for me it's tastier when cooked that way. other local nuts i also like are cashew and pili nuts, but cashew is expensive (maybe they're mostly exported?), while pili is expensive and kinda rare here in metro manila.
i know it's embarrassing, but i really like imported nuts like almond, pecan, walnut, macadamia and brazil nut. when my siblings send packs of fruit and nuts, i would snack on it nonstop and i don't feel like eating dinner anymore.

That's correct my friend. Boiled peanuts is inexpensive indeed and tastier specially when it's a bit salty.
Cashew is also expensive here while pilinut is affordable because it's indigenous here in Bicol.
Oh yes, those imported ones, i like them so much also when my sister-in-law and an aunt would send boxes from abroad. But to buy them myself, occasionally only because they are expensive.
It pays that we have relatives from abroad who send us those imported nuts.
