Factory over runs means products that didn't pass the quality control of their company. My sister used to sell over runs too and I think they sell good too. She got it directly from the company without any middle man. In that way, the pricing is in bulk and much, much cheaper that makes her had profitable income

My sister used to get over runs in Cebu. The company is carter for babies so there is no shirts for men. I will check on her if there is..

From what I learned Over runs areb legitimate branded materials or items but these are with defects or these are items that were rejected in quality b inspection of the original brand. Some stitches could be incorrect or the logo is not aligned with the approved specifications.
I knew someone b who sells v overruns and it is v really cheap. There are many different brands and you'd know really that these aren't the ones with quality of those sold in store.

Do you think this is a good business opportunity? I am planning to sell overrun items but don't know if it is a good start.

Yes, chiyosan that's exactly what overruns are.
We already have shopped in those kind of shops and the defects are not that noticeable if your won't take a close look at them. And they are really cheap, to think that they are branded.
Champoy, i think this will be a nice business, since people are now into cheaper things but of branded designs. That's better than those fakes.

A factory overrun means that a factory has produced more goods than were actually ordered by their customers. Factory overruns happen for a number of reasons. Sometimes they are due to errors in specifications or to cancelled orders, sometimes it is more economic to tool up machines to produce more than were ordered than to only produce the exact amount required.
Overruns are usually sold at very much reduced rates. If properly described, the goods should NOT be rejects or substandard but they may not have the logo or mark of the genuine, full-market product. Unfortunately, you can only be sure that the goods are not really rejects or substandard by dealing with companies which you know you can trust from previous experience. There is always a slight risk in buying factory overruns and this can be even greater if you are involved in drop-shipping (where the goods are sent to the customer direct from the factory).

Thank you for describing what factory overrun means. I am quite enlightened now. Do you think this is a good business?

Hi,
Factory overruns are products that did not pass quality control (QC). Small defects like miscuts, dents, or bad mechanism are sorted and discarded to the recycle bin for re-processing or selling it at lower price. It can be a good business, like in our place of pineapple factory where canned fruits are sold locally whose only defects are the dents in the cans.
