Its OK to share your actual photo on mylot???

I actually share some of my photos in facebook, especially those milestones achievements and happy moments I had. But here in mylot, I opt not to because it has become my outlet where I can share some of the saddest moments of my life which I do not want those people around me to know especially my family.

for me its okay with me to share real and actual photo here in mylot,actually i posted my real pictures here and even my avatar,and for me nothing wrong to post pictures who really we are and our looks,and aside from that its more okay when we post our real face here.

I wouldn't do it myself, but that's as much because I don't take a good picture, and I'm too fat.

It’s depended on you. If you feel it’s safe to add your photos, then go ahead. I think as long as you don’t post any offending photos which will bring you trouble in the future. It’ll be alright after all. And as they said, a picture worth more than 1000 words. With pictures, your discussion will be more interesting because people naturally is drawn towards the picures. So it’s still good to post if you think it’s okay.

Haha! I think i am the opposite, i share my real photo on Facebook but not on mylot. Its important on Facebook as its your identity and everything, people connect to you through there, invite you to stuff and people really wonder once your Facebook gets out of the map, that happens especially here in our country, i dont share my photo on mylot because I'm afraid I'm far too honest here and i talk about a lot of things that might shock people i i told it to them i real life. I dont want people to find out who i am on here because if that, i have an image and reputation to protect lol

Hello Tushavi! I am the opposite. I don't feel the need or desire to put a photo of myself on MyLot. I have on Facebook because I have only added people who I know and who know me. As long as someone doesn't give away any more important information like their phone number or address then I think that is a great way to keep yourself safe. Happy MyLotting. ~AussieGal~

Hi Tushavi, there are photos I had taken during my vacations in different places before sharing in some of my posts here. Yeah, it's fun really to share photos here with friends. I haven't removed any of them. If I have free time I would like to have a loot at them so plse don't remove them Happy posting

My Lot is an excellent site and it is fine for me to have my real photo on it. I know My Lot is a safe site with members from many different countries. For a long time I didn't have my photo on Face Book. I put a photo of me on a colorful bus in Colombia from 2011. I make a point of not having other photos on Face Book. Some friends have family pictures and time out with friends on Face Book. One friend has all of his wedding photos on Face Book. Some friends post photos of their children on Face Book. I am careful due to Face Book having slack privacy rules. I love My Lot and feel it is much more enjoyable than Face Book.

I think it is alright to post the real photo online. I am not afraid of it. After all, I am not a celebrity. I like to share my photos online so that my friends can see it and know our latest status anytime. I don't think others will use it in a wrong way.

Hello, I think it is just normal that you have added your photo on mylot profile. Many people do the same and you know It's never will be enough safe, but more safe than publishing it on Facebook due to member number. I never add my photos in sites like this, because I better enjoy use avatar pictures. I would say don't remove it and have a nice day to you too.

Yeah, I think it's just alright to share your actual photo here in Mylot. I did not see anything wrong about it. In fact, I posted my true pictures here before. I just have change it lately because those pair of shoes of a baby is so cute. Sometimes, I regret why I changed my photo because they did not determine my true gender here. lol.

I didn't share my photo because i'm a new member and i want first to make an opinion about this website, but as far i can see it is safe and in the end it's your decision .

i thinks there's no problem with that to share your pic here in mylot. im new here but i share my picture's too.. and its your choice. for me its better to have a discussion if you see the real person.

A lot of people will say it's not safe and I know a few weeks ago someone "stole" the image I put with a discussion. I do have one pic of myself in my photos and so far it hasn't been taken. Who would want my pic anyway? I don't get it.

I do not think it is wise to share a photo of yourself in a public forum. It can be used to add you to face recognition software so that you can be tracked if some government feels like doing that. Perhaps someone won't like you and you won't know it but they know what you look like and can attack you. Many people call me paranoid but I feel it's best to keep a low or invisible profile and not put anything online that can positively identify you. I just don't think it's a good idea.

I do think that it is fine to post your own picture here at Mylot. Well, it is really your option if you would want to.

Mylot is a safe site.Unlike Facebook it is not vulnerable to frauds and manipulations.So I don't think there is any problem in sharing your actual,original photo here.Nobody would misuse it here.Having said all this,I admit,I have not shared my own photo here.The reason is,my face is not photogenic.I know I am not going to participate in a beauty competition,yet I want to look as I am.I am not ugly,but I don't like my photographs.

my 1st and 2nd account is not my real photo as i make this new account again at 1st i choose my real photo but by the time that i am looking some images and it is looks cool to me so i replace it with this avatar of mind... it is doesn't if you use your real photo or not
