Why Isn't the Blue-Ribboned Fringe (of Numbers 15:37-40) a More-Popular Fashion?

Numbers 15:37-40 has Moses commanding (from G*d) that the Israelites "make fringes in the borders of their garments and ... put along the fringes in the borders of their garments a ribband of blue." Why don't we remember that tradition, given for the purpose of 'remembering & doing all the commandments, and being holy unto G*d'?

All because of the misunderstanding about the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. In fact, Moses and some of the laws that God has given through him were disregarded as obsolete including the fringes in the border of their garments. But I believe, what you are asking for will be realized sooner or later when the Son of Man will come again to established the Kingdom of God on this planet earth.

Why do people think 'religion' matters to G*d. It doesn't. G*d draws `R people out of EVERY church---from Satanist to Atheist (and all the Lady Gaga concerts in-between). You might even 'discern' that from the retelling of Jesus's actions on the stormy sea---His disciples out on deck fighting the storm's tumult while Jesus was ASLEEP below deck, them waking Him up & complaining that He should be up there with them, Him replying 'Cool it! Don't worry, dudes!' calming the sea, & then 'Party-on, disciple-dudes!' If your 'discernment'-muscles aren't 'warmed-up,' the disciples are the "true people-of-G*d" & the storms are "all the worldly ways that 'religion' makes necessary." We people-of-G*d naturally feel that the storms should be the way WE want them, but we need to make way for the rest of Our Lord's Will sometimes.

Not really. Look around you my friend, in this time of religious confusion, the Son of Man cannot be here literally much less the Kingdom He will be ruling in full authority as King of Kings. While it is true that the Kingdom of God can be interpreted or be given different meaning, I believe the Son of Man or Jesus of Nazareth will come again to establish the literal Kingdom of God on this planet earth. Yes we need the laws to bring us to God but this time through faith in Jesus the Messiah who baptizes with the power of the holy spirit thereby enabling every true believers to live and walk in the spiritual requirements of the laws and the words of Jesus.

Maybe, but why doesn't it seem like I could look at someone wearing a blue-hemmed outfit and think 'Oh! THAT's a Jew '

Why would you want to...They where it for their own self. so as to remember that they were freed By God through Moses. Remembering things to help keep Gods commandments. Is a Good thing. They do not where it to be pointed out by others as Jews. I am not Jewish, But by reading the scripture i would take it to mean that.
