I was born & raised in South Korea... I came to US when I turned 14... Now I'm 42, I've been in US for 28 years... Though now, I feel more comfortable with English than Korean, I guess technically, English would be my 2nd language... Basically, my Korean language stopped @ 14... Most of the Korean people I know have noticed that about me... That being said, I work as a translator so I've learned a lot from people I meet everyday for work... I've gotten a lot better, instead of sounding like a 14 year old when I'm speaking in korean... I've picked up few phrases of other languages as well from co-workers... I know one guy who speaks over 12 different languages... He says he gets confused sometimes when he's talking to people because they're looking at him funny like they have no idea what he's saying... Then he realizes he's speaking in different language... How many languages do you speak? Ever run into that situation?

Hi sk, I only know one real language and thats English..I am
proud to say that I also cancommunicate with signal language..
with my head, up and down. left and right and my finger pointing,
just kidding... LOL
But there are times when I wished I knew another language..
But as long as I stay here or travel where they speak my language
I will be OK..
