Wicked is coming to town in about a month.. and I just bought tickets to go see it with my husband! I am so excited, I can't wait to see it.
Have you seen it, or been to any other play or musical?
I went to see The Phantom Of The Opera when I was younger with a friend. Her husband was sick and couldn't make it, so she asked me to go instead. It was amazing. But that was the last time I've been to see a play or musical that wasn't put on by my kids at school, LOL.
Would you see Wicked if it came to town?

I would see anything that came to town. This is my biggest thing that I miss about living in London. The theatres were incredible and we did go to several matinees and they were fabulous . Especially seeing the Jersey Boys. I loved hearing the old songs. I love the atmosphere in London of entering a theatre that is a few hundred years old and it is intimate and you feel a sense of excitement as the curtains are raised and parted and the show begins. Enjoy it when it comes.

Wicked was here last month but I didn't go. I have quite a few friends that did go and said it was amazing. I have no interest to see it really. I am not into musicals or stage performances. But a friend told me that this was different and I probably would have enjoyed it...hmm, I just don't know.

Part of why I want to see it is just for the experience.. just to say I saw it. I probably wouldn't go if it were anything else.

I have not seen it but have seen alot of other plays. I am actually going on Sat night with a friend...it's not a play but a tribute to some singers and their songs......Neil Diamond.....Sonny and Cher...they have been having more of these types of things then plays lately at our theater. I am not sure if I would go to Wicked...

My husband has never been before.. so he's not sure if he likes them or not, but I think he'll like it.

Well, from what I can deduce from your question, no doubt to the fact that you like theatral opera. I also would have liked the show see the "phantom of the opera". Unfortunately I nevear had the chance to see it. Now you're talking about these "Witched". From title I suppose it is still a horror genre.
I hope you have fun to see that show.

No, it's about the Wizard of Oz from the point of view of the Wicked Witch of the West.

The musical production road show has been here in Denver twice. Unfortunately, both times I wasn't able to attend. Last time, was when my hubby was in the hospital. Wish I could have seen it when Adam Lambert was in it in California, like a friend of mine did. She brought me the program from it and I know I would have loved it. Here, the tickets are very expensive and the friend who wanted to take me, hasn't been well either. Perhaps the third time, if there is one, will be the charm and I'll get to see it. I love musical stage performances and would love to see this one in particular. Thanks for the discussion.

I waited too long to get tickts last year, and they were too expensive when I tried, so next time....

I am sure how some people enjoy watching a play. I have only gone to two of them when I was in High school. Well, it was because my brother was part of the cast.

If it came to our town I sure would go and see it. We live in a rural area so I don't think that will happen anytime soon.
