For a short time, my roommate and I are fostering a large German/French Angora rabbit. She's quite a character, and looks like a huge gray pom-pom with ears. So far she seems to be enjoying the company of people, as well as my roommate's collie. We think she may also have been kept in smaller quarters before and is enjoying the freedom of living in a pen in the living room.
Do any of you have experience with long-haired rabbits? We will not have her for long, but know that they take quite a bit of upkeep and can be shaved so their fur may be used as fiber and spun for knitting/crocheting. We don't intend to shave her, but I'd be curious to hear if any of you have done so with your rabbits.

I have raise suck of the small little floppy ear bundles of joy they have such love for other pets give your new pet a bit of room and he or she will be happy they do give a lot of love to humans and domestic pets just watch the fingers they can and will bit and for shaving don't they is what makes them so great take a dog bush and be careful and give a brushing they may like it as well if they have ever been brushed before
