Hi everyone, Well, I am preparing for this very crucial exam and i am a sort of lazy person and i tend to get side tracked easily but now there are two problem 1) the exam is abut 10 months from now with a prelim in about 3 months 2) i cant focus properly thanks mainly due to my scatterbrain and internet 3) i am losing my aim, i feel numb and dull and the time progress and sometime i am question my idea of preparing for the exam. 4) my life would change if i write that exam and possible would be better but i am lacking passion and enthusiasm which was there when i started but now gone in thin air

I never studied when I was in college. I can't because I was a working student and i usually sleeping when I was way home. I don't get high scores but I passed. I just used what I remember during lessons. I was active in class participation because I need to talk, otherwise I will fall asleep in seat. I did that several times, since I was taking night classes. Tip to students like you so you won't rushed during exams. Listen and participate in the class discussion, 80% will be retained in your brain.

i cant take that tip, because i took a year off just to prepare for this exam (sorry i forgot to mention it in the topic) That is, i think the cause of all the evil, being at home no pressure or getting up early and going to school.

There is a way to get yourself to get down and do some studying. You already said that your life would change after you do good in that exam, that's a good start.Just think of how you life is going to change for the best after the success and I bet that's gonna make you want to put the extra effort needed.

I have the same problem but I push myself. I know that If I don't do what I have to do I won't get what I want. If things arereally bad I go to my house in the mountain. There is no internet, no phones, no TV. All I can do is study.

humm that is a nice strategy, i am planning on leaving my laptop at home and go to the nearest library. But my problem is the knowledge overdose. Even while surfing i actually tend to learn something new but totally irrelevant things. But i am going to make a stand, Thanks a lot for responding, cheers, and hope we succeed in our respective missions.

hello what you will need to do is to have time table for your daily and weekly activities. When you prepare your time-table, you will make sure by all means to follow it. In your time table let the reading and the preparation for the exams be your major target before other things. Separate the time for the internet i mean limit the time you use. This your life you have to acquire what you require.
