Is any way to block someone we hate to respond in our discussion?

Hi Akamarukei I am sorry to hear that someone was rude to you. I have only been here a couple of weeks and I am really enjoying getting to know everyone slowly, you had mentioned new member who think they are special I know that is not me, I am far from special,(I hope that made you laugh).Try and cheer up and I hope things get better for you.

No Aka, no blocking. But you can ignore anyone who's rudeness or sarcasm you don't appreciate. I see a few people here have responded that they understood and have seen this or it has happened to them before. I've seen it as well. I've seen a new member ask a question and be spoken to rudely and/or sarcastically for no apparent reason except to belittle the person or make the responder look smart or funny. It's a juvenile way to behave. Especially to someone who's new and doesn't realize that they might be joking. And sarcastic humor has a time and place. Some people don't know enough to make the distinction between the right and wrong time. So, ignore whoever it is and forget them. Uh, I hope it isn't me.

oh, we cannot please everyone so I understand if you don't like some people. Discussions or participation here are not just to agree but also to disagree. Giving opinions or insights is not just to make you feel good but to make you mature in the way you react.

Some people are rude and try to force their opinion on others I dont like it but we have to accept it . I know exactly what you mean and even though I have way more people I like here than ones I dont like but we have to deal with all kind of people even offline . You will be ok just ignore anyone that you feel is hating on you , have a good day

I think for you to be able to have a great discussion, you should always listen to everyone. It may be negative or positive comments, everyone has the right to express their own opinions,feelings and ideas in here. That is what mylot is.. if you only want comments that you like then its not a real discussion at all. You cannot please everyone and that is the reality in this world. Just learn to adapt and accept challenges..

It is sad that there are people in the world that can be rude and disrespective some have forgot that basic morals need to be applied and a little matters should apply here as any other place yes we have the freedom of speach but a little tacked is in order have a great day

You can't block them, but you can report them.

There will always be people like that not just on here, but in real life as well.You should either ignore all the discussions that they start, or responses that they do, or grin and bare it, face it, you have not got to see them, or even live with them and for every nasty thing that is put, there will always be more nice things put by many more nice people.

I do not think that there is a way to block anyone from posting and commenting to your discussion here on mylot. As long as guidelines are not violated the post will be included. Everyone is entitled to their views and opinions. We may not always agree with the views of others but we have to let minds speak freely. Perhaps if you are disagreeble with a , take time to really see what eing said. It could just be miscommunication.

Do you really hate someone here? What did they do? Well, anyway there is no block feature here but when someone is very rude to me here I just ignore them. I get tired of being treated badly, and they will get tired of doing it if they never get a reaction from it...

hi Akamarukei, I have been here almost 2 years and I have encountered only 1-2 persons whose response were a little harsh, but I would not say that I hate them..I really think that word hate is such a devastating word..It just takes so much energy to hate someone.. Don't give anyone that much control of your feelings, you have the choice of dislike for them, ignore them or let them get into you head and cause riff raff,,,I don't hsve any idea of who you are talking about but you need to take control of the situtation..It will be ok..I have to say that most of the people here are acknowledgeable and understanding and nice also...hitch your star to another wagon....

It's not good to harbor such negative feelings toward people. I've been around here long but I don't hate anyone. I do disagree with some people here but with reasonable discussions, we can all get along fine.

No there is no way to block any one in myLot. If you're being harrased you can report it. If they're being rude you don't always have to respond. Other than that I hope they'll not bother you any more. Sorry to hear there are members who are treating you bad and you want to block their responses.

i don't think like that way that to block some friends here but and some way there are some people adding me after i accept they keep sending referral link so i delete them

No, their is no way to block someone. If there is someone here you are really having an issue with you could report them. But in general, I am glad most everyone is good here, and quite helpful as well. All I can say is just continue to come here and have fun and tend to ignore those who are bothering you. Eventually they leave here, or made to leave.

Hi Aka, maybe this place is a great place for to learn how to deal with someone you don't like This site truly a trial for me how to act with dignity even I hate someone so bad and how to cool my mind when I see a flame comments and responses which set me in my fire

There is no way that we are able to block people from responding to our discussions, which I do think is a slight problem with the mylot interface. However, I do think that in most situations that it is highly unlikely that someone that we don't like is going to respond to our discussions because there are a lot of discussions started here every day and unless they are our friends on here, it is quite unlikely that they will see the discussions that we've started.

There are some people here who gets nasty in responsing to our discussions or to our posts. Unfortunately, we can't block them but you can hit the - button or unfriend them. Maybe you could send them a private message telling that you had been hurt

There is no way to block posts for topics are open to every member of Mylot. I am sorry you have had to experience any thing that was not appealing to you. There are differences between members and some as you say like to act smart and put down other members with gusto. They might be full of themselves. However, perhaps we need to keep in mind that it may not be all the time this occurs with them and that the majority of people are kind, helpful and respectful of others.

i think you noticed by now that he'll be there whenever the discussion is about mylot.
