Hello Lotters,
I can't believe what i've seen in the video. It happened somewhere in FEU, Manila, in another busy night. but not all of them were playing DOTA, some were internet surfing and some were internet for school purposes.
this scene were group of people were going inside the cafe and after three people. the people they were after started lifting chairs and threw it. then, they imitated him when they ALL threw chairs on him. the rest of them left leaving that part of the shop screwed.
All because of a Trash talk in DOTA. how LAME.
not a referral link.

I saw that incident aired at ABS news. That's horrible.. scary young ones.. they are capable of doing violence like that.. their parents should teach them seriously with the good manners..

Hello cttolledo, I haven't seen the news yet because i have seen it in youtube first. i don't know if they had parents but am very certain some of them had been disciplined already. i think with today's society it has somewhat degraded and these poor uneducated individuals are obviously have less patience and more trash talk, gone are the days were it was just fun.

Hello Kenshin, I don't think these people are educated, they called friends and beat up three users simply because they were being trash talked to. they gave in to their anger and that's what happened. this shouldn't have taken down the toll to begin with. hwo disrespectful they have become, what kind of society we are living. oh, well am not surprised thats located in manila anyways

I think it's better for you to stop trash-talking so that you wouldn't be able to get into trouble there. it's never easy to just trash talk, infact don't do it at all since your supposed to have fun instead of trash talking with each other. ok? it's not good.

I do trash talk when playing dota at some times and I also experienced where we almost fell into fighting because one player was so ill-tempered and almost throw a chair on my friend. Such persons are roughly close to animals driven by random impulse of anger.

Hello JOhndur, well, he could have just close the door and prevent these kids from going out. So sad it had to be his computer shop, some net shop owners even commented that not every one has a CCTV. well, they better choose their customers, i know a net shop owner here in our neighborhood, she had a lot of restrictions to certain type of customers. that's why right she is able to keep the peace in her shop

Hiya LK,
What a shame people have to be like that and just for nothing either. Very little incidents it seems start those kind of people off more than anything else.
I would feel really bad having to see that kind of thing going on.
Not too long back I was in the queue in a shop and a group of Women were asked to show their handbags you know to empty them out.
They were besides themselves being very rude and they also wanted to involve me and other women in it saying why donĀ“t you look in their handbags as well?
So I said okay and showed them mine that shut up their faces right away.
It could have got to be a bit violent but the security man came up and things calmed down.
It looks like more security patrols are needed to save that poor shop owner from being ruined poor man.
They should pay for the damage they have caused.xxx

Hello Lovingangelinstead, the problem is that because of a simple trash talking coming from the players that caused this brawl in the first place. i think the owner should have lock up the shop and call the cops and have them arrested. the locals said that nly a few got arrested and the rest were able to escape

Hiya LK,
Well the Police over here are really stretched out too much work not enough Policemen, wage cuts and anything you can think of.
At least a few got arrested I always believe that life catches up with them in the finish well sometimes it does.
Hope they never get to go back there and they leave him be.xxx

The way I see it these people are just a bunch of immature "kids" who have nothing better to do with their lives. I'm surprised the person watching over the shop is not aware what was going on the other side of the shop considering the shop have CCTVs installed all over the place.
I felt sorry for the owner of the shop. All those hardwares are ruined because of the impulsiveness of those kids. And they got away with it too.

Hello Usemyname, they're squatters and probably lack of education too, just can't believe they went mad and call friends to piss on a player who simply trash talk them. they took it personally and went mad. the shop owners should have been choosy with their customers because others are gonna get hurt in the process.

I couldn't agree more with you, LetranKnight25. I'm not judgmental when comes to interacting with other people. But, perhaps, this is one of the good reasons why we should avoid socializing with these kind of people. They're nothing but a pain in the neck.
I believe the shop owner can't do that since this is a free country. As long as the customer has money to pay for the their services, they can't deny them. Unless, of course there's a dress code or something to filter out these scums.

Oh i saw this on TV, but it wasn't clear what the real reason is for such action.
So it's a trash talk about DOTA. How lame the reason is for being aggressive. They ought to be put in jail so they will learn their lessons.

closing the door would give time for the owner to call the cops even though there's already damage done inside the shop. besides, i guess he got scared and chose to let them be instead because there's just too many of them.

Hello SimplyD, actually those the victim trash talk with were probably squatters and not students, or part of some gang who got pissed by his trash talking. since they are minors i think they will be put to dswd for briefing, could have contained them if the owner of the shop could have close the door

But do you think closing the door would not compromise the safety of the things inside the computer shop, because they won't stop until somebody gets seriously injured.

HI Letranknight,
How are you after long time I am in your discussion, I read these news and watched the video which you have attached in afternoon itself in other social network site. Really it is very bad to fight with chairs in net cafe, who will pay for damages caused in the netcafe. People may be friendly and polite with other and they should know that they should not trouble any body, have a nice day.

Hello Yugasini, I haven't seen you in a long time either but what happened was that i had trouble adjusting into the time frame because i lost my internet connection for two months not consistently. that made me lost my momentum on going back to mylot . at this case with regards to my discussion, they were trash talking during an online game at the cafe, one couldn't handle it anymore, gathered some friends and tried to settle a score with him.

WOW that's some serious gamer rage. I noticed one of the boys brought in a knife.
I think it's sad that they trashed a public place and watching them walk out the font door was even sadder. Was no one watching the monitor for that room??

Hello kprofgames, there's a lot of CCTV cameras but unfortunately most internet shop owners can't afford a permanent security guard because they thought they can handle the customers. but the truth is that they weren't very much aware of the situation and doesn't care what they're upto. this owner was completely caught by surprise.. i guess the shop wasn't very choosy with the customers they let in

They should have just closed the doors at the shop and called the authorities, and have those parents of those kids know what they're up to. The owner was actually just not doing anything.

Hello machatago, maybe he was scared of them because they were too many and feared they might gag him next if he didn't let them. of course, if he did try to seal them it would involve some other customers too who had nothing to do with the brawl.

hello asliah, that's because this is a group kind of meeting and a way for them to practice their camaraderie. but this is just too much, trash talking shouldn't be encourage at all.there should be no more trash talking because that was never part in the online gaming in the first place. you don't see other nations doing that much

Hello LokoMome, I think the addiction of playing games online is the main cause of this fight. net shop owners doesn't choose their customers to use their net services. strong or weak, the idea of playing online is camaraderie and fun, there's no need for trashtalking at all. these people forgot about that and choose violence over fun.

how barbaric. I just hope these people. will get arrested for what they did. and it's really lame to do such just because of the game. or even so whatever their reason is. its still not proper to do such commotion.
