Hi everyone. I tried to log onto Weegy earlier, and found out that my account has been permanently suspended. I've been a member on Weegy since 2011, and I never had a problem with this site up until now. I stopped using it awhile back, but recently decided to give it another shot. Maybe they cancelled my account since I was getting close to reaching another payout. Has anyone else account been suspended?

They claim that my account was suspended for 'too many warnings'. I don't even know what the warnings were for. It's okay though, I'm over it now. I just wish I would have stayed away, and never came back on there.

i tried to look up the site you are talking about and all i came up with was a site where i can ask a question and get an answer. is this a site where you can earn? perhaps it's not that your account was suspended, maybe the site doesn't exist anymore.

Yes that's the site. I don't think it's moved, they e-mailed me telling me that my account was suspended for receiving 3 negative ratings. It's just weird to me that after 2 years of being a member, my account was closed just like that. I still think it has something to do with the fact that I was getting close to another payout. I've received several in the past.

I don't think it's a scam since I've been paid before, but the fact that my account was suspended all of a sudden after 2 years seems kinda strange. Maybe it's become scam recently. You may be onto something, and I indeed plan on writing a negative review on them. Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it.

Sorry to hear that your account has been suspended. I am also a member of that site since 2011. If you continue to comply their rules while answering, you will given 1 warning. If you consistently ignoring their rules you will be given 2nd warning and similarly receiving 3rd warning, your account will be suspended. Moreover, after the suspension of your account, you can email personally to the Weegy Team to reconsider your case. So, I do not know whatever happened to you. So, it is better to write down to the Weegy Team rather than giving a negative feedback. I have seen you in Weegy as well as I can recall my memory. So, do not get frustrated, Write down to them personally to reconsider your case. By the way, if your account is reopened, you must follow their rules and obey their moderator's advice. I wish you all the best. Happpy MyLotting.

@sujaysen, Hello sir. You were actually the person who introduced me to Weegy. It started out as a great site, but became stale as time went on. However, I did decide to give it another shot, and unfortunately my account ended up getting suspended. I wouldn't care as much if it happened before, but the fact that it happened right before I had enough for another payment was kinda disappointing. I have no desire to write anyone from Weegy, nor make any negative posts about them. I'm over it now. Thanks for your reply.

That seems to be a trend with lots of different sites. They egg you on until payout and then they cancel you. Or just maybe your account was canceled because of inactivity. Either way, it does not seem right. Something is up there. As long as you have MyLot, thats all that counts.

Since my account is suspended, I can't use it anyway. You're right about Mylot though.

@inertia4, Hey my friend, and thanks for your feedback. I agree with you that this appears to be a trend forming with a lot of these online earning sites. It's making them harder to trust. My account couldn't have been suspended due to inactivity, because it was still there once I started back using it. I just think they gave me a lame excuse for shutting me down. I've gotten some of my answers rated bad over the years, but never got my account suspended. All of this sounds too fishy. Oh well, I'll just keep it moving. Thanks for your response.

First of all suspended experts are not allow to create another account, thats the other case if you contact the Weegy Team and they will allow you to create another account. As far as i know this has never happened that Weegy Team let them to re-sign up or opened their suspended account.

I'm by nature a pretty suspicious person when it comes to internet earning sites. The fact that you were getting close to payout would bother me a great deal. A previous comment suggested writing them to see if they will reconsider your suspension. I would do that before writing a bad review about the site. If they don't respond in a fitting manner then I would give to them with both barrels in a review.
Did they give you any warnings? From the little you've written here I suspect not. That is another thing that would bother me. I wouldn't be too shy about pointing that out when you ask for reinstatement.

@koopharper, Thanks for replying. That's the problem that I have; they suspended my account when I was so close to reaching payout. If I wasn't close, I probably wouldn't care as much. I plan on contacting them maybe tomorrow.
I did receive a warning from them, but I don't even know why I was getting warned. I had been doing the same exact thing that I've done for the last two years, but all of a sudden my answers weren't good enough or something. Who knows what it was. I just think it's suspicious the timing of this all. Thanks again for your feedback.

I've read your article about weegy several months ago. I am also a member of that site but I was not able to continue because I find it hard to understand the process. Were you able to get payment from the site?
Have a great day!

Hi ARIES1973. Glad to hear you read my article regarding Weegy. I thought pretty highly of the site at the time I wrote that, but obviously that has changed now. I did receive a couple of payments from them in the past. I think the last one I received was back in November of 2011. I started back using the site about a month ago, and I had gotten close to reaching another payout before finding out that my account has been suspended. I normally wouldn't care, but it just seems messed up that it happened being that I was so close. Thanks for your feedback.

just happened to me tonight. i was doing some Q and A through weegy, i fall asleep for about 35 minutes and my cmputer is in its "sleep" mode so i shake the mouse for some more questions.. so i go to log bk in, next thing i know it says my account has been suspended, so i go to check my email and see what is going on and see why things are going like this.
when i check my email, i had only 1 flagged message/ warning. the next email (which was only 4 minutes later) was them suspending my account. seems kind of like a bummer. i mean if we answer the questions with what we feel is a good and accurate answer only to some joe shmoe mod who says we are wrong. or even worse to a user who says we are wrong and sends back a neg review, then doesn't the system sound broke?

It's basically a site where users ask questions, and members of the site called Weegy experts answer the questions. A Weegy expert can earn money based on the questions they answer. You can give it a try if you'd like, but I honestly wouldn't recommend it. Good luck.
