I did not expect to "love" this movie but I think I did ad I liked it so much I cannot wait to give my nieces and nephew a copy so they can already watch it. I am sure they would enjoy the said movie as it is graphically appealing and of course its for kids too - they can and should be able to relate well to the story. **Spolier** Ralph was a bad guy in an existing arcage game but at the back of each game, whenever they are not "working" it got to him that he is the bad guy and that he was never invited to parties, he was the less significant of them... etc. So he tried to get himself a recognition, only to cause some mishaps along the way and nearly "killed" a whole game. It revolved how selfish reasons turned into something disastrous the journey was, and how one is able to help someone and find himself and accept his "destiny". I do not regret watching this at all - this couldn't be better and for us who loves graphics, and animations and colors - this game lived up to its game! =) I do think this is a very good one to be watched for the kids.

Yup I watched Ralph, its very interesting, funny and a little bit dramatic(at the ending part...). I love the character of Vanellope von Schweetz, she's sweet and a super optimistic girl, they call her glitch there but she still cheerful. I watched it three times now because I love the story, to be true this animation is not really kinda very funny like the other animation that I watched rather its more in serious act because Ralph is having a stressful problem, he want to prove himself to other characters of their game, and Vanellope is an alien in her own game... yeah, and she's really alone, although her state was very lonely still she often smile and always have a lot of energy. I remember the scene where she's pretty happy having a car at first time, she even signed it because by her its a masterpiece. Okay, so the movie is great, and very colorful, adventurous to watch, funny... The things is, What is the bottom line? What lessons are you gonna expect with this? Yeah, that's always my question before I watch movie. For Wreck it Ralph... well, I saw Ralph's problem, his frustration and depression, he loves to be recognize and be friends with others, just because of his strong arm and villain character the characters of his game don't paying any attention to him, they're not recognizing him as really one of them... how bad that is to someones feeling if you gonna take that in real life situation, its kinda lonely. So the lesson for it was be friendly, there are lot of people having the same situation like Ralph illustrated that needs recognizing, lets not be judgmental because of other peoples situation or look, lets accept them, give love and comfort so the others could do the same too.

Hi axlrate! thank you for your response. The movie was straightforward depicting Ralph's problem and how lonely it was to be him - feeling unpopular, unworthy, and not befriended. He was a huge guy but he was bullied by the good guys supposedly who must already have realized that they should work together as one. And he went missing, then they realize it was still his fault? =( They should have seen his value when we went missing, that they could be pulled out if one character was out, right? I think this story is positive still, in the end it show cased that sometimes we might forget who we are, we might also not remember where we came from but always, within us is the heart, within us is what we truly is as a person. It also has shown us that we can always make a difference and help someone in our own ways.

Yes, I agree with that, I also seen that part but yeah in the end they still see his value in the game which is really a good ending, and Vanellope regain her title as a Princess so everything becomes sweet and all good. By the way, I'm gonna watch Tangled again, I already forgot everything about that movie, Disney channel showed a commercial about it so I'm planning to watch it again. :)

I have never heard of this character in a game.. Maybe it was just famous in the US. but the story seems interesting.. a "villain" character wanting to be good, and the trailer looks good too. i better check it out.

You b should check out out. I do not know the game too. There are b some arcade games and characters in the movie too that you might be familiar with. But they do not form a big part in the movie. But I like the way the story was told and how all characters both villains and lead are equally important in the movies and even in games.

Ooh, that's good to hear! I found a coupon for $7 off the Blu-Ray combo set and I was thinking that my daughter might like a new movie for her birthday next week. It's too bad they stopped making VHS tapes... my daughter likes those better than Blu-Rays or DVD's because we let her put them in the VCR all by herself. Thanks for helping me make up my mind on getting this one!

Hi chiyosan! Like you, I wasn't expecting to really, really enjoy this movie, too!! I love the characters and the puns. hahaha!! Even Pacman had a role! Cool stuff! It's a brilliant, and kind of a fresh idea bringing the old video games back into the limelight! Kudos to the makers of the movie!!

Hi being well! I agree with you. The movie was unbelievably good. It did not do very well because kids now are not familiar with the video games character in the movie but for us or was such a refreshing and light movie but full of moments for you b to reminisce your very own experience with the characters when you were playing them before. :)

It was nice, right? I put off watching this movie and thought maybe its too cartoony for me or that its a story for kids, but no it wasn't. i love it, its meaningful too... trying to accept who you are, isn't so bad.. you know you have got a role to play in life and when you are not in this world, someone's world may not be as meaningful anymore. =)
