I am telling story of my aunts grandson. When he was child one day one relative came to their house. My aunt was cooking egg omelet for him. they are vegetarian. My aunt didn't eat eggs. So she said to her grandson," I will give you this omelet after that uncle gone out" . After some time that uncle stood for going out. Immediately grandson asked my aunt," Please give me omelet. this uncle is now going". that uncle stated laughing. That grandson is now married man and that aunty is no more but these funny memories are with us.

That grandson seems to be a very clever person! I like omelettes but not for breakfast, but for lunch perhaps.

Reading your post, I suddenly remembered how mu husband and I first started dating. He was a close friend in College. And back then he has a girlfriend. But after a coupe of months, i noticed that he hangs out more often with me and my friends than with her girlfriend. I never asked him why, but I would often tell him that his girlfriend might get mad. He just shrugged it off all the time. Then he started to court me. I never took it seriously coz he jokes around all the time. Then one time, he and his girlfriend broke up. I really didn't know what caused him to stay away from her, but when she asked him what was his decision, he told his girlfriend that he chose me. I was really not aware of that. Anyway, he would always as me out for a date. And I would always turn him down. Then one time he told me to have a deal. That if our General Anatomy Lab Professor will not come to class, I will agree for a date with him. And if the professor comes, then he would just shut up. I readily agreed coz this professor never missed a class. He was even known to be one of the terror professors. And what do you know? THE PROFESSOR WAS ABSENT THAT DAY! Of course, I lost and I asked him if he made a compact with the devil. hahaha!

some memorable moments are with our family and relatives. this is because we spend most of the time with them, and we become comfortable and loosen ourselves with the inhibitions including humour. this is a good story. thanks for sharing it.

Funny memories are memorable. We keep them and treasured them. We always remembered those sweet incidents. However, incidents that are scary are hard to forget. Those are unforgettable experience which we would to erase from our memories. But they can keep haunting us.

Hi, You are right. Scary memories are also hard to forget. But we should try to forget these memories. We should try to forget bad things in the past and we should not waste our valuable present in thinking of the past. Try to gather good things and throw bad things. Thank you for the response.

Well, I understand the point of this discussion, that the interest of the child was to have the omelette. But he, instead of waiting for his uncle had left the house. He said, "My uncle is coming out, give me an omelette." All this was heard by his uncle who, for obvious reasons, he replied with a laugh. However, even in my family some fun episode, like this, it happened.

Out of the mouth of babes eh! I love the innocence and forthrightness of children, I came across this many times when I used to work with children, the things they would come out with, they didn't know what they were saying was wrong, inappropriate or could be at times rather embarrassing, but of course you accepted it because of their age, but it was comical! Thank you for sharing your omelet story!

hi roshigo yes we all have some funny and precious moments like that . Once I bought some nice tall candles for a gift to m husband as he loved candle light. the candle holder held a wooden candle like the ones I bought in the box and I never thought to tell my husband that that was just a model not a real candle . So he tried to light it and of course it had no wick. So he grinned at me and said "Its better to light one wooden candle than to curse the darnkness."' We both had a laugh out of that. Also when we were courting he learned I hated my first name Patsie so he called Pattytricia just for fun,. so many wondered what that meant but I only told my close friends. it was also a code for if there was something wrong I called out to him pattytricia and he was there at once.

It is always nice to remember some good memories sometimes it will make us laugh if not smile alone but we must move forward keep ourselves busy let us not be a prisoner of the past there are much more interesting in our present we will just try to explore things and events surrounding us think positive. Thinking of the past will do us no good for it will only ruin our present. It can never be with us BUT WE CAN BE WITH YOU.
