Anyone a Dan Brown fan? I fell in love with his books after reading The Davinci Code...I have since been hooked on ALL his books and now this new one is called "Inferno" that will be published by Doubleday in the U.S. and Canada on May 14th.
This latest book will feature the return of renowned Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, is set in Italy and centers on one of history’s most enduring and mysterious literary masterpieces, Dante’s Inferno. The book will have a first printing of four million copies. It will be available as a Random House Audio and ebook.
If you haven't read any of his books yet I highly recommend them! The Da Vinci Code, published by Doubleday on March 18, 2003, spent 144 weeks on The New York Times Hardcover Fiction bestseller list, The Da Vinci Code is the bestselling adult hardcover of all time with 81 million copies in print worldwide. It is also one of the top ten most read books in the world along with The Bible, Harry Potter and Gone with the Wind!!!! Amazing facts!
The Lost Symbol (which I LOVED) was a #1 international bestseller with 30 million copies in print worldwide. It was translated in into 48 languages.
His earlier novels, Digital Fortress, Deception Point and Angels and Demons have all gone on to become multi-million copy international bestsellers.-- so believe me I am not steering you wrong when it comes to this author.

Awesome! Thanks for the advanced notice.
Can you give us a synopsis? I've read DaVinci Code, Angels & Demons & seen the films. All good stuff & well-researched (mostly by others!), but they all should have (& could have) gone much further. I've got the other books you've mentioned, but haven't finished reading them yet. I guess I just have my fingers in too many pies these days.

Far out! I never expected this much, but it sounds quite gripping. Who would've thought that hell had so many levels, eh?

I am also a fan of Dan Brown novels. I have watched two movies based on his novels. Now I am reading his The Da Vinci Code novel. Believe me, I have not read a book like The Da Vinci code. This is my first Dan Brown book. So I don't know about his other novels. I am planning to buy his other novels too.
I have heard about his new novel 'Inferno'. It is available for pre-order in some of the online shopping sites in India. I will surely buy this novel after its release.

I LOVED Angels & Demons....I think that and The Davinci code are absolutely amazingly riveting reads. I have to admit...I stumbled onto him by mistake. A co-worked of mine at an old job recommended The Davinci Code as a MUST READ..and because I admired her...I took her up on it..and have been hooked ever since!!
Before Dan Brown I was/ still am a HUGE John Grisham fan. You know the writer of books that have been turned into movies such as The Firm and The Pelican Brief. He is also a VERY good mystery writer- if you haven't checked him out..please do so!
