Knocking sound in my car

I started my car this morning, and had to move other cars. I heard this knocking sound on and off.
When I get home from work, I'll ask my Dad. But if I recall it's the engine or something on the verge to blow up.
Last time it was a chunk of ice built up in the gas tank (but this was when I stepped on the gas), whereas this is when it's sitting still.

oh no.. I hope it was only ice and not something that will cost you money to fix. Have a great day there.

I'm not an expert on cars, just the opposite, but I had a knocking problem awhile ago and it was a piston. Luckily, my car was on a recall list for a built-in problem with the pistons so it didn't cost me anything to get it fixed but I know that engine problems are not cheap.
I hope it's nothing too serious or too expensive but it probably is. I can't think of any other reason a car would make a knocking sound. Good luck!

I know, I said that to my coworker today. It's most likely something worth a pretty penny. Most likely my Dad could fix it, and me buy the parts but again not cheap. I usually go to the scrap yard and get my parts hal the price.
I just got everything caught up and working on savings accounts.
