This style of providing lunch for children are actually prepared at home and brought to the school where the children are taking their education. As the bell rings,as a sign they will be picking up their lunch box and containers. This way of providing them foods is a very good idea they could have quality foods and are nutritious for their health. They will just bring back their lunch box or containers
for someone to bring back home to be ready again for their lunch the next day they go to school.

I was just wondering about this the other day. No, I don't have children but I have noticed something that didn't occur when I was growing up.
We stop most mornings at the corner store where I get a cup of coffee. My husband doesn't drink it and I don't need a whole pot, so.....
Anyhow, I see lots of parents stopping with their children to grab something for them to take for lunch and breakfast which usually includes a soda, a bag of chips or a candy bar. I'm not seeing healthy foods go out with them. They carry lunchables at the corner store.
When I was growing up we got up and had cereal before going to school. We took our lunches when little. When we got older we purchased lunch in the cafeteria. I realize we are all in a hurry but I don't understand this. Is convenience more important than health? And yes, I do bring my lunch to work. Sometimes a salad, sometimes soup.

I understand your point Caroline, because that was an ideal American method of your
daily meals, but not in the Philippines, that we must have complete breakfast.Yes we
have adopted to eat some bread during breakfast with some cheese or fried egg and we have hot chocolate, black coffee, coffee with cream, hot tea,a ginger tea.or other
hot drinks.I have to cook for our lunch time,to prepare something nutritious for the whole family like some vegetables, pork viand,a season fruit, and a bottle of mineral water. These will all be send to the school where the children would just pick it up during their lunch breaks.I am very particular of their health.
