I have never been a big fan of water growing up. My grandfather use to always make homemade teas and lemonaides. Since I have been on the road to being healthier, I have falling in love with water. Did you know that you should be drinking half of you body water in oz of water? I had know idea myself.
I will say that since I have been doing that I noticed a lot of changes with my body. My skin is clear and tight. My belly has gone down a lot, and I'm no longer constipated and i go more then once a day... Yes I know that's to much information, but water is a mircale cure.
Most people think they are hungry, tired, or sick, and they are really just dhydrated... I hope you all are getting in your daily water intake... Do you drink enough water every day?

Yes I know that's to much information about water, but water in fact is a mircale cure.
I strongly agree with you on that real information, And let me explained more of this information, that any average the individual's need for water per day is about 2 liters of water.
The most common problems faced by any individual is in winter, where the desire be a few in dealing with water.

Have you ever noticed that an injured animal will always go to water and try to flush their system. I have shot deer and did not make a clean kill for some reason and had to track him down to finish him. and always he would go to water.
My Dr has diagnosed me with stage three kidney failure and wants me to drink at least 2 liter of water daily.

I will follow my doctor's advise on this as he knows better than most sales people trying to sell their diet stuff. And believe me there are a bunch of them out there.
His wife is a nutrition expert, went to college and got a degree and all so she plans meals according to what your body needs. They work together so he finds out what you are lacking and she puts together meals that feed that need.
My biggest problem is finding the fresh foods that I can afford to buy.

We use to drink out of the hose!!! Yea, I'm still alive even though, I drink water everyday, we have a Pur water pitcher and we refill it about five times a day. I've taught my kids to drink more water than anything, milk and juice for breakfast but water for the rest of the time. Pop as a treat and tea, well, we love tea so we drink it almost everyday, with lemon no doubt.

All hail the might water!
Obviously I am a big fan of water:) Awesome that you have amped up your water consumption. drinking other things, while fine in moderation is such a hassle on your kidneys.
I drink more than enough water everyday!

I must say that I can drink enough water every day but in some reason I always forgot to drink enough especially we have different kinds of beverage on our ref one of them is soft-drinks. sometimes I prefer to drink water and soft-drinks most of the time, I guess I drink only 2-3 glass of water everyday. I think its not bad at all.

I drink ALOT of water, I drink almost 2 liters of water per day if not more.
There are alot of things you can add to the water to make it a little more easier to drink if you don't like the plain taste of water. My favorite thing is Mio, or Crystal Light.
I find the more water I drink, the less I eat through-out the day, so its helping me with my weight loss as well.

This is a great discussion because this is a topic that I completely agree with you. So many people nowadays go days without drinking just plain water instead opting for juice filled with artificial colors, a boatload of sugar, or they just drink pop all day. Water is a great cure for a lot of the annoying little things that affect our health throughout the day.
I personally try to drink as much water as I possibly can throughout the day because someone that I know that is pretty knowledgable when it comes to health told me that you are supposed to drink half your body weight in fluid ounces of water each day. So for example I way about one hundred and fifty pounds so I should be drinking about seventy-five fluid ounces of water a day or about ten eight ounce glasses.
Anyways I'm glad to hear that you are drinking more water and I think that you will continue to feel better the more you stick with drinking water daily. I definitely notice a difference when I don't drink water all day or even worse for a couple of days.

It's been 2 years now and I can say for sure that my health has improved since I have been taking in more water. I am not as tired, I am more alert, my skin is glowing, my joints don't hurt, my muscles are not soar after a workout, and it keeps me from over eating when i am sure to drink a glass of water before and after each meal and snack!

I have been drinking a lot of water, though sometimes, it taste terrible, not because of the water. Stress has altered my body so much that everything either tastes bad, or my body rejects it. For me, I have to drink 165 ounces a day at minimum to stay hydrated, since I am a big guy. Before, It used to be 175-180 ounces of water a day, but I would just shoot for two gallons. I usually just buy the gallon jugs of water and drink from that because it is easier, cheaper, and a personal sense of accomplishment being able to drink that much. These days its not so much if I can drink an entire gallon, but how long will it take. As I kept growing and getting busier (I lift heavy stuff a lot), one gallon a day became one gallon in a couple of hours, then an hour, then minutes, which is how I drink two of these things a day, sometimes three (when its warm outside). There are jugs of water all over the house. I keep a stash in the car, some in the garage, there is always one in my backpack, and one next to my bed (yeah, I'm guzzling one in the middle of the night). Fish aren't using this much water. I haven't seen many health benefits from it other than it helps keep the body temperature under control, and I realized that helps me move a bit better, especially when your muscles are pretty big, they need to stay hydrated.

I do try to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day as recommended, as well as encourage my kids to do the same. There is absolutely nothing that we can compare how water cane quench our thirst. It is the safest and healthiest way to hydrate ourselves.

I see to it that I get enough water everyday because really water is the mos abundant nutrient in humans and about 70 percent of our bodies are water, 90 percent of our blood is made from water and our brain is 83% water. We should always drink about 8-10 glasses of water everyday as shown in the food pyramid guide. Water also regulates a lot of processes in our bodies because it is an important element to cells and body processes. If we lack water we may dehydrate and our body processes may halt due to this. Water is really essential and it may be in many forms like soups, juices and others. So we must get enough water daily.

I totally agree with you, water is very important and we need to drink at least 2 litters a day.
I often drink coffee and i always try to drink much water after that, i haven't seen any change on my skin, but if i don't drink water much, my lips may be dried...

I had always known how important drinking water is to us. I do not drink as much other drinks in my life compared to other people I know in my campus especially. They are drinking at least three glasses of sweet drinks every day with minimal fresh water intake.
I always make sure that I drink enough water every day. It is about two mouthful of water every forty minutes. so I am able to drink more than 2 liters of water every day and compared to others, I have fairer and healthier skin. I do know that even my internal organs should be working better than my colleagues as their daily intake of water may not even exist 300 ml.

I tend to drink a lot of water when the weather is hot. Otherwise I feel desperately thirsty and faintness comes upon me. All year round I drink water whilst doing energetic dancing between each dance music track. I drink a lot of fruit juice and some water. From now on I am going to try to drink lots more water.

Be careful with fruit juices. They tend to have very high grams of sugar in them. They are what I call calorie busters....If you should have 1200 calories each day and you drink 2 to 3 glasses of juice each day, they can put you at about 600 to 800 calories for the day. So not good when considering your calories should come for food
