i am finally sending in my ipod to apple today. its 160gb and i would really love to have it fixed as i cant fit all my music and podcasts on this tiny 32gb touch! i dont want to spend 30$ to fedex or purolator to get it there fast i only need to get it there in 1 weeks time is a bubble mailer safe enough? or should i just pay up. Also to insure it this is worth a couple hundred dollars so im not sure. i dont know what it costs to insure it also if its like 2 bucks well heck yes!

id insure anything that you cant afford to replace yourself. As you never know what might happen to it.

Why don't you ask the post office? I think they will happily answer you.

I have an 120 gb ipod and it might need a new battery, so thinking of trading it for a new one, but not yet. I do not think a bubble mailer is safe enough. If you still have the original box, use that, and also you had better insure it.
