I don't know how others feel, but playing games on FB is a total waste of time. I have played a couple of games and I even got addicted to them for a week or 2. But when you reach some stages in the game, they make you buy energy, chips, OJ, burgers and what not. And you got to have friends who play the same game you are playing, to have some stages unlocked or else you get stuck. It gets irritating at times. What do you mylotters say? Played and got addicted to any FB games?

When I first got on fb I was totally addicted to the Farming games, i think there are two of them. Finally I got so bored with it I just stopped. I never had a problem with them though. I never bought anything on any of the games I played.

Well the farming games were the only one's that made any sense to me to wait around for trying to play them. I don't get why people become addicted when you usually have to wait so long to do any thing again. To each their own though.

@echoforever. Neither do i understand because recently i got addicted to Criminal Minds and once I am back from work i used to think I might get to work on new cases after I completed every new stages. But then again I have to wait every couple of hours (can last up to 8 hrs) to get the energy filled.

I remember I used to play Poker until a couple of years back and I used to play on a daily basis. I knew I was addicted even while I was at it but never thought it was a waste of time. I thoroughly enjoyed myself every time I played it. I understand these games can eat into a lot of your time which is why I stopped playing once I graduated and got a job. I feel these games can be refreshing as long as one doesn't get so hooked that the games become bigger than his family and life.

I must say most people who have played Poker have became addicted to it at one stage. Thankfully, I refused to learn the game. Lol. A friend of mine would play the game on my account just so he could transfer the chips to his; the freebie chips that you get from friends and the lucky bonus spin..he he! But you may be right, as one can unwind by playing a game that he/she feels is fun after a hard days night. Happy posting!

I only access Poker game just so i can collect free chips and roll the spin. Hopefully, I am thinking of transferring the accumulated chips on his Birthday or something. lol. Besides, I do play Criminal Minds at times..I am not sure how i like it, probably I have read too many John Grisham's or have watched too many CID type TV soaps..Good for you if the game you play refreshes you. Good day!!

That's right. As long as one plays these games to unwind, I don't see a problem. I've actually forgotten the last time I played Poker but I do play some other games every once in a while and its refreshing to say the least.

Totally agree with you rekhum, for I did indulge in fb games a couple of years ago. Whenever I have free time I couldn't help and played my favorite game there. Worse still most of the time I played until wee hours. It's awful that I had become a game addict. As time goes by I felt bored gradually playing the same games together with my group of friends. I found my health was not that good and lack of energy doing my office work as well I's aware that it's not a good habit actually and quit playing the game slowly. Nowadays I have lost the interest playing fb games. I'm glad that I don't waste my precious time playing game anymore.
Hope you type more posts to earn the quadruple earning these couple of days
Happy posting

Really glad to see your comment notification in the mailbox this morning I enjoy having back and forth comment if really have something to share with. Yeah, I agree that no matter whatever if too indulging in it would affect our daily schedules and living. If we really like to play game it's no harm to allot our time evenly. Let say if playing game for an hour we should quit from playing and do other activities or works according to the time table. Doing so certainly we would live a happy and healthy life.
I don't need coffee to boost my energy. From your rolled up sleeves shows that hard you strive for the god given opportunity. May be the quadruple earning is the great impetus to push me to be more diligent in typing post here. I do enjoy to work, having easy listening and sweet background music. Take care

Your past addiction to the games reminds me of my old buddy's addiction to Poker. He was totally cut off from socializing. It hit his health and work too. And later he realized, it was a waste of time. Thank god he did realize it after his cable line got cut due to technical issue for at least a week.
Oh, yes my sleeves are all rolled up, sitting with a huge mug of black coffee and my radio on posting, as today is the last day for the quadruple earnings opportunity. Happy posting!

I got addicted to Facebook games before. In fact, I immediately applied for an internet postpaid plan so I can play them all the time. I also spent some dollars to buy coins because I didn't know that I can earn coin by just visiting my friends farms But that was before, it has been years since I last visited my farm. I also played pet forest afterwards but stopped playing it when I reached level 52.

I do not know how many $5 dollars I have spent in Farm Ville and Mafia Wars before. Now I really hope I should have used that money for pizza delivery. But anyways, it was all in the passed. Lesson learned.

I think many of the games do take a lot of time and can be stressful to play. You have to ask for help and wait for energy to refill. I'm playing less games today and deleted 2 games yesterday.
There is one game that pays on Facebook and you can play by yourself. Go to Facebook type in gosave and play. Its fun to me.

Yes in gift cards and several of my friends have received cards. I don't think the game is a waste of my time, as its saving me money.

I think that facebook is a good [place for family and friends to connect. I have never really gotten into games on facebook. There are so many websites to don't really need facebook for that.

I have not played any games on FB even though many friends of mine have requested me to try. And now that you have said that for you it's a waste of time, I guess I would not waste my time either. Maybe if I could earn playing it, I guess I would give it a second thought.

Yes, you said it right. Why waste your time playing while you can do it in some sites that gives you incentives. And mylot is one, enjoying and meeting new friends worldwide sharing our ideas and of course the earnings.

Yes I think they are completely waste of my time. I wouldn't get addicted to them because of the energy usage problem on almost all of them. I got fed up tryign to play them even a little and didn't understand why people get addicted with them. They will make you buy with real money or you will have to bug your friends to play. I don'tw ant to bug my friends, I want to play the game and enjoy it myself first. I didn't end up doing that, so I left.

Yeah, I don't like bugging my friends but I get tons of invites. Sure some of the games would be fun but not to that extent. I'd rather find somethign free I can play when ever I like however long i want to without doing all of that.

Well I do played online games, but not on FB. Actually I got annoyed by my friends’ invitation to play those games. I’ve never consider to play on FB simply because I also don’t want to annoy my friends by sending out invitation to play games. Since I think the invitation often sent unintendedly.

right facebook games is really addictive, for me as far as I can stay away from playing games on facebook, I will. because when I start playing games especially like the kind of game that wants them to hook you up and get addicted? yes I follow to it and like what you say I get addicted and in the end I realize that I only waste my time playing it.

But i admit i still play games especially when i am bored. so i have got one of those games that facebook has, the candy crush and yeah.. it is so dependent with your friends giving you tickets so you can continue. i think it was alright for now. i mean i am not like the others that do not do anything else but play game. :D

These games actually reach any individual to addiction, which is a big waste of time, and most of it does not increase the knowledge and science to those who exercised, try to stay away from the games that take you from one stage to another, they are endless games.
A person who practiced and played, he has no time to do something useful

When I first joined FB I got hooked on the farm game but after awhile got bored with it and haven't played in over two years I believe. Now I'm addicted to Words with Friends. I play with my daughters, sister and friends. I love it because I'm actually learning words I never knew existed and it helps to keep the mind active. Any other games I could care less about them. People keep sending me request to play but I delete them all.

I enjoyed playing games in FB before and although it really is a waste of time I'm not quite disappointed that I played because it was fun. But like what you said when you reach that certain point that they make you buy stuff then that's the time that I stop and do other things. There was one game called know-it-all that was removed that I really want to play again because it was educational. But aside from that I don't want to come back to FB again just for playing games, better to stay in myLot instead.

I remember when I was not very familiar with internet, this farmville game was already very popular among my office mates. Whenever I pass by a certain section, I can see their monitor were all opened to this game. They are competing with each other on the design and the score.
I also played this game for sometime, but I am a person who will not focus on something I can get benefit from. So I don't get into this game seriously.
I am just addicted with myLot.
Have a great day!

Mylot is like my dad, always reminding me not to waste my time on FB games but rather earn some cents for every minute of mine when online..Farmville, though I've never played seem to be still popular among many. I think the game let the city dwellers like us imagine how it is to rear a farm in real. Good day!

I used to play farmville, wild ones and pet society when I am just a newbie on facebook. I will admit that I got addicted to these games that made me online everyday. Now I am no longer playing these games because I am busy with more important things on money making sites. I agree with you that this is just a waste of time.
