I have a particular fondness for stroopwafels, having been introduced to them while living in Holland for a year as a child. They are made up of two round, thin, buttery "waffle" cookies, with caramel sandwiched in between. Though delicious on their own, many people like to have them with a cup of hot tea or coffee, placing the cookie over the mouth of the cup to let it warm up from the steam. It is possible to find them in the US, but they are not very common. Have you ever tried a stroopwafel?

That sounds delectable, I want to try that one out. Obviously I'm in the Philippines, so there I haven't heard of that yet. But the way to describe it, sounds yummy. Hopefully I can try that one day.
