Burger King

Hello again, wolfmeister! I used to eat fast food breakfast every morning en route to my teaching job, because they were conveniently located along the way, I could afford it and between rising early enough to get dressed and make it thru morning traffic to greet my students at the receiving door on time, my stomach just didn't feel like eating until that time when I would be just around the corner from school. Very unfortunate. However, I am in a different situation these days, in which I work from home and thus do not have to deal with the traffic but weekly or monthly, and thus find myself cooking at home, more often than not. Most fortunate for my diet, as I have more control and eat better quality, less processed food that way. However, I found myself looking across the road in town a month ago to find My local Burger King being demolished, including the foundation, and now find it nearly rebuilt and ready for business. I don't know the reopening date, but I hope they'll keep Gardenburgers on the menu.

Hey doroffee, thanks for joining in this discussion on Burger King. The Gardenburger is a vegetarian burger formed from ground vegetables, then frozen as a patty and sold by Morningstar farms to various outlets, including Burger King. I'm not big on pickles or tomatoes in my burgers, personally. I prefer the tomato in the form of barbecue sauce, ketchup or marinara sauce.

Hey there, rob, thanks for joining in this discussion on Burger King. I have also tried the Gardenburgers at home and prefer them in that setting where I can prepare them as I like, with all my favorite things. Burger King is simply an outlet for convenience, like when I have a meeting too soon after work and there's just no time to go home and cook and nowhere to heat up a homemade Gardenburger in the vicinity. Burger King does what I need it to do.
