Hi ifa
Dont know much about it as I never read the original but yes, I did read a couple of pages on the English version. And let me tell you - despite not being a follower of islam - I do get the idea (and it is also my personal belief) - that all the Holy Texts are always so very true. They all show us the paths of Rightousness, how to live a better and more peaceful live and above all, spread and believe in Universal Brotherhood. Yes, there are always some bad people (in all religions) and their acts defame not only them but even communities, but then it is all momentary and temporary. In the long run, Religions are much above these acts and there are always good followers which always outnumber the wrong ones.

I had read some pages of Bible too, in fact my mother have a bible to learn it.
You know, that made my day. I have been friends with many Muslim people and some of them are real orthodox. Again, many have tried to show on the wrong notes that Islam is Orthodox. But I always believe it is not the religion but the people who make a religion. And I am really happy to know that your mom has read the Holy Bible and you too have followed her. That is something what makes you and your mom precious and important
