Since last year, i always save a little bit money daily, money earning from mylot, and extra money i received at work. Saving money is my habit now and i am very happy whenever i see back the amount in my saving account.
I just went to work in this morning and got a news that I will receive 20 usd because of a woman day in Vietnam. It is great!!! i have more money to save today...

Wow they gave you $20 just because it was international womens day? That's cool, here we get absolutely nothing for it, well where I used to work we got nothing, no appreciation or anything. I think they should change the law to make it a public paid holiday for all women

Vietnam is still poor and in fact salary in here is not very high. But in some special day for women or new year, depend on the companies, people may receive a small gift like that. Right now in big cities, men are galant, they will do house works, cooking, buying flower for women in his family....you know, normally men in here are very lazy to do houseworks

Oh that is very cool! No here in Australia that will never change I'm afraid. Giving away money like that would be such a nice thing to do and here it is just full of greed

That is great! I am also a saver, I like to save money when ever I can. Even if it is only a small amount or even change. It adds up before you know it! =) When you see it start to grow it is an amazing feeling.

Learning to save and be thrifty has made me live a good life in spite of having a small retirement pension. I have lights only where I am, I water the plants only as needed and so I save in bills. I like to invite friends, but I have learned to make yummy and cheap dishes. I have a couple of piggibanks and I add a big coin or a small bill each time I do something with my hands instead of calling someone to fix it for me and charging me.
