I'm wondering how many people enjoy reruns of television shows? My daughter can easily watch Law and Order SVU all day and when she sick will watch a marathon. Do you like to watch marathons of television shows? What is the last one you watched? I know if I'm going to watch a marathon it would have to be an older show like Perry Mason, as its not on in my area, so it can be hard to see some of the episodes that I don't already own. I really miss the show.

I could watch Golden Girls reruns all day. And I have before. I've also watched like a marathon of reruns of Mythbusters or Dirty Jobs. It's harder for me to get into reruns of dramas, although a couple years ago I did a marathon of The Vampire Diaries seasons.

I have watched many episodes of Dirty Jobs, which had 3 episodes in 2003. Show didn't return with the first season until 2005 and aired for 8 seasons ending in 2012. Mike Rowe was the host and I like him. I'll have to check out Mythbusters haven't seen it yet. What channel or is it in reruns only? Thanks for posting.

Mythbusters is on Discovery just like Dirty Jobs. It airs reruns every weekday on the Science Channel. They still air new episodes on Discovery, but right now they are on hiatus.

Thanks I'll see if I can find re-runs to watch. That channel has my favorite game show Cash Cab. I love to answer the questions and sometimes I'm shaking my head when they don't use their helps and end up out of the cab.

I can watch reruns of some shows. For instance I have seen some episodes of the The Big Bang Theory many times since it is on something like six or seven times a week on a local independent station here. Other shows I will watch reruns of if from the description in the paper, or online, does not cause me to remember much about it. Also, with reruns sometimes I will notice something that I missed the first time around.

Point well taken its what I missed the first time, as my daughter will ask me if I saw a certain person on a show and I'm like who? I'm noticing some of these reruns are watched more than when the show aired the first time. Thanks for posting.

When it comes to watching reruns of shows that are in their current season, this is something that really drives me nuts because I am the kind of person that tends to get really invested in the current season of a television show. However, if we are talking about reruns of a show that is no longer on the air, I will watch these when they are episodes of a show that I really enjoyed and I also like the reruns when it is a show that I didn't discover when it was first aired.

Members are posting shows I haven't seen and I'm looking forward to watching them. There is always something airing at the same time as another show I already watch. Thanks for posting.

I still enjoy watching the reruns of my favorite television programs. It is the chance to get to see a favorite episode over and over again. I don't get bored with it at all. I know there are people who only like to watch something once and am just as happy to see it again and enjoy it.

i hate to watch reruns because mainly in marathon, the plot gets unravelled and also more over the surprise factor is lacking

I know there are a lot of sites where you learn everything that happened on a show. Some of my friends like to tell me everything that happened on a show before I watched it. Thanks for posting.

Hello ! I don't watched television that much , only a variety show and news programs because i don't have the luxury of time. So envy those people who can sit before television for couple of hours . I only can watched television for long hours if it is Holy week , because no work and farm got no internet.

I can understand that many people work long hours and don't have time for television. Certain seasons I'm finding a lot harder to watch any television like summer. Thanks for posting.

Many of the soaps are old like General Hospital. I miss the original Edward and Lila, who have passed away and how they were together so long on the show. It was really sad when the last Edward passed away shortly after doing his final role playing Edward. Which soap do you like the best?

My 11 year old daughter is forever watching the same reruns of 'Friends' on comedy central and it drives me nuts! It got so bad that i bought the entire series on DVD for christmas but yet she still watches it on TV! Sometimes as a parent you just have to bite your tongue!

Laughing out loud that is me before moving, as I would watch Perry Mason at noon and tell my husband we couldn't go out until Perry Mason was over even if I had the episode on DVD. My husband even said lunch time isn't 1:00 pm.

Oh, I almsot always watch reruns, but quite sporadically... I have no time to follow a show, let alone real time. I can watch Criminal Minds and CSI anytime, though :D.

I have watched reruns of both shows and my daughter needed to watch Criminal Minds for one of her college classes. We both felt the show is well done. I've seen a lot of episodes of CSI Las Vegas been on a long time. Thanks for posting.

Matlock and Murder She Wrote are two great classic shows. I use to watch both in reruns before we moved. Now I have more channels and less is on them that I want to see. It even sounds hard for me to believe I'm running for my DVD's many times lately.

I enjoy reruns of certain shows and like your daughter Law and Order SVU is one of them. That show never gets old to me. Plus I like the old Benson and Stabler team. The older show the I could watch reruns of without getting tired is The Cosby Show. Especially the episodes where the kids are older or when Olivia comes to live with them. I'm really glad tv land has started showing The Cosby Show in the evenings now. I look forward to watching cause I can always get a good laugh.

I miss the Benson and Stabler Team, as really not into the new season. Its clear a lot of people don't like the new people with the big ratings drop or they just miss Stabler. Bill Cosby is so funny and if you get a chance and see he will be on a talk show, then its a day to watch. One talk show I heard him sing and he really is a great singer. He is just an amazing talent and really enjoyed working with the kids on The Cosby Show.
