Dreaming of possible trips for the future

I wonder if it would be possible to afford a trip to Australia again in the future. I have visited it twice already for me which is unusual for my travel habits. Yes, I usually visit destinations on my travel wish list which I haven't been to before. I flew into Sydney my first time around then over to Adelaide. I traveled overland up to Cairns. Lastly on that trip in 1993 I flew on to Darwin. On my second trip I was aged 28 years old and I spent my whole trip in Western Australia. I know my two young children would love it in Australia. They would be delighted with the wildlife for sure. Dreaming is happy. Which places do you dream of one day visiting, new places or places you have been before? Have you ever traveled in a very large country? If so how did you move from one place to the next?

I read that as "possible trips to the future". For a second I thought you were departing from travel to science fiction. Anyway... I'd love to go to Australia, Rio, Bali, back to Europe, many other places. Right now, this year, Hawaii is on the agenda. Next year I hope to take the children back east, maybe to DC and some other places.

You have a lot of experience of all these places so when your children grow up they can indeed follow in their mum's footsteps, you can advise them the best places to go, what to do, what to see, and of course how to get there and how to budget and afford to travel to these exotic destinations. Although even more exciting to take them with you! It would be great if you could my friend! So you could see the country through your children's eyes! Their awe and wonder of the sights to be seen. I used to dream a lot about travelling to far off destinations, not so much now, but that's down to my depression and anxiety problems. But I used to dream about going to Sweden, New Zealand and Turkey. Maybe one day, who knows, but yes it's great to dream!

I would like to go to England, or the Caribbean or Australia. But all these would have to mean I would have to save the money, have someone take care of my house, and not be able to play my piano. When we were moving, we had a moving van, so I never was going on a bus with a knapsack.

Hello! I love what you are doing, you love traveling around the world. I wish i could be like you. But anyway, me and my family we have plan to a vacation trip this April this year but not abroad but just here in our country locally. We plan to go to Bohol Island here in the Philippines to enjoy the beaches and some tourist spots there.

Don't worry... we'll all help make it more affordable for you this time. I can hardly believe you were here, in my tiny city & I didn't bump into you! I like using hire cars when travelling in Australia & New Zealand. That way, one can go at their own pace & if something unexpectedly pleasant comes up, one can stop & check it out. Planes, trains & buses don't have that advantage & the distances are too great here for cycling. Also, any breakdowns are covered by the company & one gets to drive some of the very latest eco-friendly vehicles around.

For this discussion, Peru and Brazil just came into mind. Airfare from Manila to Peru and Brazil are so expensive. That is why until now it is just a dream for me to go there. And when the time comes, I will let you know how did I travel within those countries since both are large countries and have many places worth visiting.

Most of the time I prefer to visit new places. I liked most of the places that I visited in the past, but my travel wish list is very, very long and I usually choose to visit one of the places from my list where I haven't been yet. I love to dream about the places that I want to visit in the future I already planned several trips. I would like to return to Asia in the future and I have thought about the best way to combine the countries. If I manage to save up the money and if my boss will let me travel for several weeks again I would like to visit several countries on the same trip. My first trip to Asia would be Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines and the second trip would be Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan. I also want to visit China, India and Russia, but when I visit one of the large countries I would prefer to visit one country at a time because there would be so many interesting places to visit in those countries. In northern Africa I want to visit Morocco and Tunisia and in Southern Africa I want to visit Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. In South America I would visit Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru and in Central America I would visit Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Belize.

Australia is a large country and a continent by itself. You have visited more of Australia than I have been. I've never been to Europe, and wish to visit the UK someday. My sons play football, so they'd like to see Old Trafford. Are you far or close to Manchester?
